FAST MOVE WORKOVER RIG ADRIATIC 1 Leader in the field of mobile workover rigs, Sundowner O.S. has designed for ENI SpA. a workover rig to efficiently perform all required well servicing and workover tasks on about the totality of platforms in the Italian Offshore. The rig owned by Nabors Drilling Internatio- nal, was assembled in Ravenna in 1993 and registered by R.I.N.A., and is operated since then by Hydro Drilling S.r.l. with the utmost operational records. Upgraded in September 2000 for drilling side-tracking wells. The most peculiar features of this mobile rig are the easy assembly and disassembly in packages of 10 tons (approx) weight each using either the platform crane or the “Leapfrog” rig crane and the complete moving between location with only 5 loads of supply vessel.
