This first editorial piece is based around my Heroin, Rachel Mcadams. The photo

shoot and article are heavily based around the character, the actress played in “The Notebook” and her style within

that film.

Is this the girl everyone want’s to be?

This is the girl that made us beleive romance isn’t dead. In and out

of the movies, Rachel Mcadams made us weep with jealousy in The Notebook as she had that movie romance all girls dream of.

WORDS AND PHOTOGRAPHS: NATASHA WORDSWORTH

Rachel Mcadam’s is admired by many women, mostly for her role in The Notebook.

The book turned motion picture became known as one of the finest, most poignant films to come along in the past ten years. Every girl wanted to be Allie Hamilton, the character who was fantastically played by Mcadam’s. Many reasons people fell in love with the movie was the way she connected with Ryan Gosling who played her love interest Noah Calhoune. It caught everyone’s attention. They then became a couple after the film was produced, which was heavily documented by the press. Fans of The Notebook just wanted the couple to last forever. Everyone just really loved the whole ambience surrounding them as a couple. .What maybe went wrong for the couple is that they appeared to get caught up in being the characters out of the Notebook. Also attempting to be the perfect couple must have taken its toll. For example after they won the Best Kiss award at MTV Movie Awards in 2005, they re-enacted there award winning kiss in front of the audience and viewers watching at home. Wearing a simple black and cream corset with jeans, she still managed to look amazing in something that seemed so effortless.

Advertising for the relaunch will be in form of posters that will be placed in and around London. In and outside all of the Mango stores and also on the underground. When doing the advertising it was important to make it colourful and attractive and also advertise the fact that there will be stars attending the event.Important information is kept big and bold to attract attention, where as finer detail is in smaller print.
