Farmers’ Day."

sity To mark the occasion, Scientists from Birsa Agiculture Univer

were invited to each Unit Hqrs and Workshops were conducted

for the farmers to grasp the basic understanding of modern

farming techniques, Soil Testing methods etc.

Simultaneously, documentaries and related short films were also

shown to incorporate contemporary farming awareness and its

mechanics to the farming community settled in Naxal affected

remote interiors of the State.

It was just a small initiative to honour the commitment and

dedication of the ‘Men holding the Plough’ from the ‘Men holding

the Gun’. We further intend to buy back the produce from the

farmers for our mess.
