HappyNew Year!

-Richard Williams, Wine & Spirits Buyer

Cheers!

As hard as it is to believe that we are once again uttering those words, the calendar doesn’t lie!

So here we go! We can’t help but start this year with the hopes and prayers that this will be so much less “eventful” that the last few have been, and that our wonderful county can get back to focusing on all the things that make us great!

All in all, the 2019 vintage is shaping up to be a fine one, and Sonoma County, was honored as the 2019 Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Something to be proud of, and well deserved!

We’ve got some great local wines from our fair county in this issue as well as great finds from the world over, including a focus on Australia’s renowned Penfold’s winery. It’s a great chance to be reminded just how great wines from our friends “Down Under” can be.

By now, everyone has surely heard about the impacts our increased taris have had on numerous products from overseas, but we have done everything in our power to stay ahead of that. We are pleased to oer a couple great deals from France on our front cover! These two wines are versatile enough for any occasion and both come in under ten bucks!

As we are heading into the “healthier months”, in place of our beer feature, we have Boochcraft hard kombucha available in three tasty flavor combos. Don’t miss our spirits feature - Faretti Biscotti Liqueur - this stu is amazing!

We look forward to seeing you in our Wine and Spirits departments soon and often!
