The IFP-Net is Graphic Monitoring System software used to monitorup to 16 IFP-1000 and IFP-1000VIP control panels (nodes) withaccessories. Running on a standard PC workstation and Microsoft®

Windows® 2000, the IFP-Net presents the user with an easy-to-useand attractive graphic user interface. It is fully customizable to adaptto a wide variety of monitoring situations and supports multipleoperators monitoring all or a portion of local sites.

In order to communicate with the Fire System Manager computer,each panel must use a NION. NIONs communicate via anIFPN-PCLTA20 card that is installed in the Fire System Managercomputer. The IFPN-PCLTA20 card communicates on twistedpair topology only; however, if the installation requires fiber optic

cable, an IFPN-4WRMB (4-way router motherboard) oran IFPN-ROUTMB (router motherboard) can be used.

All three IFPofferings provide built-in synchronization for SystemSensor, Wheelock, Gentex, Faraday and AMSECOdevices; built-in digital communicators with up/down-load; and support for detector sensitivity, day/nightthresholds, drift compensation and pre-troublemaintenance alert. The IFP-100VIP and IFP-1000VIP panels are analogaddressable fire alarm controls combined withintegrated single channel voice evacuation systems.Both systems have a single SLC; the IFP-1000VIP isexpandable to eight SLC’s. The seamless combinationof fire detection and voice evacuation simplifies opera-tion and programming of the entire system. The VIPsystem is scalable from 50 to 400 watts using distrib-uted amplification, which provides power to areas forcomplete evacuation coverage.
