1.0Introduction

My name is Fan Ruo Xi. I’m a degree student from INTI International College Subang. My major is accounting and finance. I will graduate at the end of 2017. I take most of the time to study and I acquired basic knowledge of my major during my school time. I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job and it turn out just as I had planned. I have set some high goals for myself such as I want to graduate with highest class. Even though I had a slow start in my first year study, I try my best in the rest of the time.

2.0Goal Setting

When the goal is fully integrated into the life of the time, the achievement of the goal of life it’s just a matter of time. Especially in the learning phase of the students, Should specify some of their own goals. 目标是我努力的依据，也是对我的鞭策。目标给我一个能看得见的彼岸，随着我实现这些目标，我就会有成就感，心态就会更加积极主动的向更积极地方向转变。

Goal is not only the basis of my efforts, but also spur on me. Goal to give me a sight of the other shore, as I achieve these goals, I will have a sense of achievement, attitude will be more proactive to change to a more positive direction.

2.1 Short-term goal

My short-term goal is that in this semester, I must try my best to get higher marks not only work hard with my assignment but also take every examinations seriously. Form good learning habits from every details and correct bad habits such as last minutes work. Besides that, I should use right review and learning methods. However, balancing my life is another short-term goal. The purpose of entering the university is not only learn from the class. Participating school activities can help me gain many skills such as communication ability, independent learning ability, entrepreneurship ability as well as interpersonal communication skills. Therefore, I need to be more active in the event that I participate and catch every training opportunities because they bring many social experiences to me.

2.2 Mid-term goal

When I graduate, I must get second class result and with this result, I am able to apply the master for further education. However, second class is not easy. I need to get more than 60 of every subject especial in year three. My mid-term goal is to apply the master successfully and I look forward to study in Australia. English is a problem for me. I will make a good use of the rest of my university life to improve my language skills. As I have a strong interest in English I have certain English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability though many years of English learning. But basic knowledge of English is not enough for my further study, so my target is to translate professional English literature without the help of English dictionaries.

2.3 Long-term goal

After graduate from master, I plan to find a job in a small company as an accountant. Meanwhile, I will use my spare time joining the ACCA class and pass all the exam within three years. Currently, ACCA is the world’s largest accounting organization. It has been widely recognized by foreign companies in Europe and the United States, foreign accounting firms and overseas listed companies. After finish all the ACCA course, it is easier for me to find a job in a good foreign company.

3.0Thematic Analysis of Learning Style and Related it Industry Project

Learning style is more common classified by physiological perception. It can be simply divided into three types: visual model, auditory model, tactile / kinesthetic model.

3.1 Auditory Learning Style

The way that this kind of people use is to participate in the study group, discus and communicate with each other. They are more willing to read loud or tell the learning content to others to improve their familiarity. Sometimes, they read loudly or listen to electronic books or other audio files to help them memorize. However, I am not a person who is more sensitive to the tone, speed and pause. I am also not good at looking for the key in the speech of others. (LearningRx, 2003)Learning Styles Inventory shows that I am an auditory learner. An auditory learner should develop the ability to solve the problems independently and deal with the problems. Sometimes, when I do not understand the problem, I should try to use my own brain or with the help of a dictionary instead of rush to ask others for advices. I also need to cultivate the habit of thinking problems. Therefore, in the normal study and life, I should ask myself “why”, this not only can open up my own ideas, but also to make me understand of the problem more in-depth.

4.1 Strengths

My strengths is that I have good Accounting and Finance Skills and Language Skills as well as Computer Skills.

4.2 Weakness

My weaknesses is that I lack of the working experiences and I need more practices on working under the big pressure and my Oral English ability is not enough.

4.3 Skill Gap

Skills GAP analysis will help you identify skills required for a goal to be met and make a plan to decide how to master these skills in the most defined way. From the skills gap analysis above, I find that as a degree student, I should gain more working experiences and I also need more practical accounting experiences. The accounting skills that we learned from the class is not enough in our future work. Therefore, I will have further learning of accounting after I graduate. This skills gap analysis gives me a clear target on what I should improve and I think I can do better.

5.1 Accounting and Finance Skill

Accounting is based on the currency as the main units of measurement, in document as the main basis, with the help of special techniques, accounting and supervision of a comprehensive, continuous, systematic capital movement of certain units, provide a kind of economic management accounting information, participation management, aims to improve the economic benefits to the parties concerned. I will join ACCA class to improve my technical skill of accounting and finance, which can help me to have great interpersonal skills and some knowledge about the business world.

5.2 Information Management Skill

Information management is important not only in my study life, but also in my career future life. I will learn more about information analysis from some part time jobs or from the event that I participate in the school. As an accounting and finance student, we always deal with data, so I need more practical experiences about analysis data information and use them as a tool in the company.

5.3 Language Skill

PWC is a famous international company in the world. They have a high requirement of language skill. My English is not enough for me to use freely in my future work. Therefore, I planned to use one year study IELTS and pass the 6.5. Not only that, I also need to practice my communication in English. I will be more active in our group when we have group assignments in the school and try my best to express myself and contribute my ideas.

6.0 Conclusion

Self-evaluation is a form of self-consciousness, which refers to a person's understanding and evaluation of his physical and mental state, ability and characteristics, as well as his position, the relationship with others and the society. Self-reflection has special significance to the development of human self, self-perfection and self-realization. Self-reflection also has important social functions, which greatly affect the way of communication between people, but also determines the attitude of a person to treat others, but also affect the evaluation of others. It makes me more clearly about my position and helps me set reasonable life targets.
