What Family Weekend

Registration Register online at vanderbilt.edu/families/familyweekend. Online registration will be available from 10 a.m. CDT, Monday, August 5, through 5 p.m. CDT, Monday, September 23.

Cost $35 per person (waived for Vanderbilt students and children 12 and under)

Saturday, September 28Vanderbilt vs. UAB football game $40 per person NOTE: All students have free seats in the student-only section. If you would like your student[s] to sit with you elsewhere in the stadium, you must purchase additional ticket[s].

Late fees/cancellations On-site registration will open at 10 a.m. on September 27 in the Board of Trust Room at the Student Life Center. A $10 late fee will be charged per person in addition to the $35 registration fee. If you must cancel your registration, please do so by Friday, September 20, at 5 p.m.

A Moving Sound is a Taiwan-based performance company on an expansive 2013 international tour with festival and university appearances, including the U.S. Kennedy Center. This student-organized, campus-wide talent show and competition was initiated by Dinah Shore in the late 1930s. Athenian Sing began as an a cappella singing contest among fraternities and sororities. The Athenian junior honor society now produces this event to highlight Vanderbilt’s premier performance groups.

Tickets are $8 each. An allotment of tickets has been set aside for parents—they are available through the Parents & Family Programs Office. Tickets will also be available via the Ticketmaster box office in Sarratt Student Center a month before the event.
