Family Therapy Treatment Program BrochureTRANSCRIPT
“ There are very few programs that are
speci cally designed to address family issues
like FTTP. We are grateful that we have a
referral source that is capable of addressing
the issues that our families struggle with
as there are many programs that do not
understand the family court dynamics.”

WHY FAMILY THERAPY?
Family therapy helps people strengthen relationships,
resolve familial problems, and address the challenging
issues that cause such problems. Understanding that
couple and family concerns are often as unique and
diverse as the families themselves, FTTP provides services
to all types of families—traditional, non-traditional,
blood relatives and non-blood relatives—and to all
ages—from younger children to older adults.
Committed to an integrated approach to services, FTTP
works closely with other systems already in people’s
lives—such as other treatment providers, courts and
child welfare services—to ensure that all systems are
working together toward the same goals. To this end,
FTTP counseling services are provided wherever the
couples and families need it—in their home, at FTTP,
or even at other treatment providers’ of ces. FTTP
is one of the only programs in Philadelphia to offer
these convenient options. Services are also available
in Spanish, Chinese and French.
All FTTP staff are trained in evidence-based and evidence-
supported family therapy treatment techniques.
