Family Survey• Surveys were sent out to families with a 3-month window

for completing and sending them back.• This provides an opportunity for families to provide their

input into our programs.• This is the first year STARS program is included.• The survey contains 29 questions with a six point scale.

Family Survey• 21,300 surveys were mailed to parents of

children in Star 3 and Star 4 facilities

• 7,013 surveys were returned

• 33% return-rate higher than any other program– Highest return-rate: SCRK 36%– Lowest return-rate: SERK 31%

Fiscal Year 2010-2011• Plan is to mail surveys in the Spring (April/May

2011)• Survey will be very similar to last year. Looking

at adding a few items related to community resources and making some language changes.

• Web option will be available • We are investigating possibilities to offer

additional options for language translation.
