This is not a group about the loved one you are supporting. This group is about support for you. You need and deserve support too! Your self-care makes you a better supporter of your loved one. Along with topics selected by the group, the following themes will be pursued: Self-Care Recovery Concepts Empowerment Grief Peer Support Reclaiming your life Mental Illness Education Empathy for yourself Working with Clinicians Safety Family Supports Life Cycle Issues Addressing the Stigma Effects Finding Balance
