FAMILY OF ROTARY MONTH

December-in all likelihood, the happiest month of the year. A season of joys, hearty feasts, parties and get-togethers, gift giving, reunions among manyothers.

Amidst all the fun and merry making, let us not forget the true spirit andmessage of Christmas which is Love.

For in celebrating the birth of Jesus, we must remember that it was then that God gifted us His onlybegotten Son because of His great love for us, our Father’s extreme sacrifice.

I would like to think that all our humanitarian services are actually our gifts of love to our communitiesand which happens not once a year but practically all year long. This too involves sacrifice on ourpart in giving our time, effort and resources to render service.

Thus, as we continue to “Light up Rotary” in our service to humanity, let us bear in mind the saying,“Only in this LIFE can we do GOOD, what awaits us in the next Life is Not the opportunity to do Better, butthe REWARD for having done our BEST.” Let’s keep our brightness by sharing it with others.. Let nothingoverwhelm our light.. Let’s keep on BURNING, be a Beaconing light & INSPIRE others.

This is the spirit that sustains us and our organization, the spirit of giving and sacrifice,

The spirit of love… Maligayang Pasko Po Sa Inyong Lahat!
