Laurel’s Annual Talent Show & Dinner
February 11 @ 5:30 p.m.
This year’s show will benefit the LYF group’s summer mission trip.
SUNDAYS New College Class in the
UT/Orange Room: David Keim will be teaching on Galatians.
WEDNESDAYS Del Grissom is teaching a
new class on the book of Acts in the room across from the Laurel Room. New Study Offered in the Laurel H2H
The Heart-to-Heart Group that meets at 5:00 pm on Sunday evenings at Laurel (Room 8)… will begin a six month study through the entire Bible THIS SUNDAY NIGHT (Feb. 5), based on the material used in the World English Institute out-reach work. It is the material that is seen and learned by students all over the world. You have heard WEI promoted from the pulpit, and may also know that we financially support that good work (our own Justin Acuff is doing a great job as the Director of Technology for WEI). Also, a number of Laurel members teach Bible and English ONLINE, using the WEI system (it’s easy). Others have ex-pressed interest in teaching people from all over the world who ASK TO BE TAUGHT via WEI. You may want a great and effective way to continue teaching your International partner or friend after they go back home, wherever that is in the world! If any of these apply to you, or if you would just like to go through an “easy to read” but well organized program covering the whole Bible in six months, please e-mail Doug Woodall ([email protected]) OR Norris Cline ([email protected]) and let them know you will participate (so we can pro-vide the material, etc.) and then show up at 5:00 pm on Sunday. We will switch to a 6:00 start time when the time changes. Also, we will NOT cover the English Grammar part of the WEI study (ONLY the Bible study.)
