“Fall River Foxes work courageously every day to educate students, support each to achieve his/her highest potential, and raise respectful and responsible citizens.”
FOCUS PROGRAM We are excited to have been awarded, as part of the Skyline High School feeder system, a Race to the Top grant worth $16 million over four years. Students at all grade levels experience science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) integrated into their day.
Each classroom is equipped with interactive technology, document cameras, speakers and teacher microphones. Students have daily access to iPads and Chromebooks. Students also learn 21st century skills, such as collaboration, communication and creativity. Students engage in hands-on inquiry-based learning that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND SUPPORTFall River students consistently score above district and state averages on state assessments. Achieving academic success includes small group instruction, individualized learning and differentiated instruction. Strong literacy support for students and teachers, outstanding ESL and Special Education support, and response to intervention meets students’ needs by providing early academic assistance.
All students access interventions and enrichment daily through intervention/enrichment time and flexible group instruction. Fall River’s Professional Learning Community meets weekly in grade level teams to plan for differentiated instruction and monthly as a whole school for data-driven dialogue.

“I like Fall River because the teachers don’t just teach us about what subject we are
learning, but also about life, preparing us for it.”
PARTNERSHIPSParents and community members are involved at Fall River; often there are over 20 volunteers in the building working to support teachers and students. The PTO supports the school with many community events such as a carnival, Fall River Clean-Up, Popsicle Pop-In and Family Fun Night.
Staff and parents partner to maintain a high level of accountability for student achievement and foster a positive school climate. Parent and community involvement is critical to student success!

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONEarly childhood programs are academically rigorous and developmentally appropriate for students. We believe strong early childhood programs are key to success in education. Fall River offers preschool classes for 3 and 4 year olds, as well as before and after-school care though Discovery Den. Our vibrant kindergarten program offers two full-day and two half-day classes.
Students can be involved in extended learning through Student Council, Safety Patrol, STEM Leadership, Robotics, KidZing Choir and Gifted and Talented.
Students can also participate in before and after-school child care (Fox Den and Discovery Den), as well as enrichment classes such as pottery, Spanish and legos.
