Fall Orientation - 2016 Cazenovia College Welcome

Orientation begins Friday, August 19 with Move-In and runs through the

start of classes on Tuesday, August 23. Your days will be filled with

opportunities to meet new people, learn about life at Cazenovia College

and explore all that the College has to offer. The Orientation Program is

designed to make the transition to Cazenovia as seamless as possible.

Over 150 upper-class students comprise the Orientation Staff. Their

goal is to create a phenomenal experience that introduces you to

Cazenovia, helps you develop new relationships and gets you settled

into your new home.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 19 MOVE-IN DAY

9:00am–2:00pm: Residential Student Welcome & Check-In • Assigned Residence Halls

9:00am–2:00pm: ICT staff available for technical assistance • Residence Halls

9:00am–2:00pm: Student ID Pictures • Campus Services (7 Nickerson Street)

11:30am–1:00pm: Complimentary Lunch • Dining Hall

12:00pm–2:30pm: Hospitality Room • Witherill Room Refreshments, Parent Relations Staff, Local Banks, Orientation Staff available for Q&A

1:00pm–2:00pm: Commuter Student Welcome & Check-In • Park Hall

1:00pm–2:30pm: Library Tours • Witherill Library

3:00pm–4:15pm: Presidential Installation & Convocation • Quad*

4:15pm-4:30pm: Family Farewell • Quad*

4:30pm: Family Road Trip Snacks • Alumni House (1 Liberty Street)* Stop by for snacks for the trip home

4:30pm–5:15pm: Orientation Staff Welcome • Quad*

5:30pm–7:30pm: Dinner & Residence Hall Meetings • Residence Halls/Dining Hall Students will share their first night dinner with floor residents and Orientation Staff on a

rotating schedule

8:00pm: First Night Ceremony • Quad*

11:00pm: Late Night Snack • Cam’s Pizza Truck • Quad
