Dec. 13: DrawBridge: Handwriting,Picture Making and Academic Inquiry
Patrick Sims, Vice Provost for Diversity and Chief Diversity Officer, will give a talk about the status of the Diversity Framework implementation and discuss issues of campus climate at a broader level.
Joshua Calhoun, Assistant Professor of English, will explore the making and the marketing of Shakespeare’s legacy and provide an opportunity to think about viewing, questioning and understanding the First Folio.
Lynda Barry, Associate Professor of Art and renowned cartoonisht, will present a talk on DrawBridge, a cross-disciplinary, arts-based research method for problem solving through spontaneous drawing, writing and collage designed to facilitate insight and discovery.
