BILL HIBLERBill Hibler got hooked on conifers a� er a visit to the Arboretum's Coenosium Garden in 2007 which led him to acquire Picea abies Pusch, a small prostrate spruce with raspberry-colored cones on the tips of new growth. He got really hooked a� er visiting a wholesale nursery at the Oregon Gardens which led him to begin replacing several plants in his yard with a variety of conifers. Since 2012, Bill has been the Tree and Shrub buyer at the West Seattle Nursery. He is a member of the American Conifer Society and, a� er touring other private gardens as part of the 2014 Western Region conference, began collecting in earnest. Bill now owns over 100 dwarf and miniature conifers. Bill's other major interest is Japanese maples of which he owns over 70 varieties, many of which are also dwarf. He is a member of the International Maple Society.

South Seattle College.• To cancel a registration, please contact

the Continuing Education offi ce at least two business days prior to the start of the class.

• You will be refunded 100% of the class fee minus a $6 processing fee.The processing fee will be waived if you transfer to another Continuing Education class.

Cancellation of ClassesClasses may need to be cancelled if enrollment is low, due to an emergency, or if the college is offi cially closed due to bad weather.
