Back to School Supply Drive 2009

For many parents and children, the thought of going back to school in the fall is not a pleasant one. Many dread the return because of the added pressure of not having the right clothes to wear, not having the nifty new hair cut, and not having all the required school supplies that are on the list. Common Cup Ministry and the Salvation Army would like to make going back to school easier for some of

these children and need your help. Please consider a financial donation or donating some, or all of the items listed here. You can drop them off at FLC North or Faith on Grove by August 24. Cash donations will be used to purchase supplies not donated. The dates of distribution of the backpacks and supplies will be August 26, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and August 27, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at St. Anastasia School gym in Hutchinson and First Lutheran Church in Glencoe.

Parents may request supplies for their children using the official request form. Forms are available in the church office or you can call Common Cup to have a form mailed to you.

Volunteers needed during the distribution and for set up on the 13th of August. Contact Common Cup Ministry at 587-2213 for more information. If you have any questions, please call Jackie in the church office. Thank you!!
