Acvies include: bible stories, arts & craſts, recreaonal games (both indoor & outdoor), music, special guest speakers/entertainers, skits, talent show and field trips. While the 4-6 year olds remain at camp every day, here are a few field trips our 7-12 year old campers will be aending: Astros Game, Splash Town, Pleasure Pier in Galveston, A.D. Players, ITZ, Childrens Museum, Horseshoe Juncon and more! The always popular Camper Fun Days & Pool Days (oponal for 7-12 yrs only) will be back, along with Chick-Fil-A-Mondays, Whataburger Wednesdays & new this year, Pizza Fridays. Since we are a Catholic camp, we have Prayer Services, Pray the Rosary and the Staons of the Cross. This year Father Clark will be teaching the 7-12 yr. olds about the different parts of The Mass. Also, this summer all our campers will be learning about, and praying to the Saints that have statuary in the Church. Our Staff: Our paid staff consists of both adult and student counselors who are energec, responsible and love to work with children. All adult paid staff members have taken the Virtus Safe Environment Course: Protecng Gods Childrenand are CPR cerfied. Our volunteer staff consists of junior high and high school freshmen students who are graciously donang their me to help at our camp. Schedule: Monday - Friday, June 4 – August 3 (NO CAMP THE WEEK OF July 2 – July 6) Regular Camp Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Regular Morning Drop-Off: 8:45 9:00 am Regular Aſternoon Pick-Up: 3:45 4:00 pm Pre Camp Hours: 7:15 am – 8:45 am (oponal) Post Camp Hours: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (oponal) (Both Pre Camp & Post Camp sign-up must be done in advance) Eligibility: Boys & Girls Ages 4 – 12 (Your child must be 4 when they begin camp. At the time of registration, parents must provide a letter from the school (on the school letterhead) stating their child has been enrolled for at least the past 6 months and is potty trained).

Pricing:

Regular Daily Fee: $37 per day, per child if registered by May 8.

Registered After May 8 - $42 per day, per child.

Field Trip Fee (7-12 year olds ONLY): Field Trip fees are $35 extra per child, per trip. This fee covers lunch

(when available), transportation and admission fee for both campers and counselors. For all field trips we

take air-conditioned buses.

Camper Fun Days: $20 extra per child (Includes inflatable rides/slides, hot lunch & snow cones)

Registration Fee: $65 per family

Optional Choices:

Pre Camp: $5 per child per day Post Camp: $5 per child per day

Chick-Fil-A Mondays (optional): $7.00 per meal each Monday

(choice of chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets chips, fruit cup and drink)

Whataburger Wednesdays (optional): $5.00 per meal each Wednesday.

(choice of chicken strips or just-a-burger with fries, cookie and drink)

Pizza Fridays (optional): $5.00 per meal. Most Fridays (cheese or pepperoni pizza with chips & drink)

A 10% discount will be applied to the families who are registering for a combined total of 28 days or more. This only applies to the regular day cost, not the total cost.

Camp Shirts: Camp T-Shirts are required and must be worn at all times during camp, with the exception of special theme days where campers are allowed to wear alternative clothing. As usual, the 4-6 year olds will be one color, while the 7-12 year olds will be a different color. Shirt Cost: (remains the same as last year) $8.00 each or 2 for $14.00

Registration & Payment: While most camps offer only weekly options, Camp SJV is popular for offering Daily Options! What this means is when you register, you can pick and choose your days without having to sign up for an entire week. Fees are due at the time of registration. However, payment options and special arrangements are available on an individual basis. Payments Accepted: Cash, Check or Credit Card (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX).

NO REFUNDS! All changes made after registration will be subject to a $15 fee per change.

REGISTRATION DATES:

We offer one private registration for returning families from 2017; as well as, two open registration dates.

All registrations take place in the Parish Life/Activity Center Office:

Tuesday, April 3, 10:00am - 2:00pm (Only For Returning Families from 2017)

Sunday, April 8, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm (Open Registration)

Tuesday, April 10, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm & 4:30-6:30 pm (Open Registration)

To expedite the registration process, we encourage Registration Packets to be completed in advance.

Registration Packets will be available, by email request, beginning March 13

Due to the number of registrants, please be patient as the wait may be longer than usual.

After the open registration dates, please call or email the office to schedule an appointment.

Appointments will be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday, April 18.

Appointments will last approximately 20 minutes.

At registration, please bring with you an updated copy of your child’s immunization record and a copy of their health insurance card.

Both are mandatory and your child’s registration is not complete without them.
