Key Stage One Spelling Homework

Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to explain to you how we are organising spellings homework in Key Stage One this year.

Your child will receive a list of spellings every Friday to learn for a spelling check on the following Friday. Each week, the spelling list will consist of a series of words with a focused spelling rule. Please help your child to practise these spellings at home as much as possible. The list of spellings will be set out with a number of activities that will help your child to remember each word.

We hope this explanation is clear, but if you need to ask any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher.
