There is no doubt about it that failure

leads to pain but bears a sweet fruit in

the long run .

It infuses a new hope ,energy and vigor in mans life .It makes a man

optimist and leads him to a path of patience and perseverance .It affords

encouragement and crowns his efforts with success.

It is a symbol of cowardice to be discouraged and feel pessimist on

failure

One should not be disheartened but continue one’s struggle till the goal is

achieved . The following Story will explain the

meaning :-

Robert Bruce was the king of

Scotland . His country fell in the hands

of Britisers .

He wanted to free his country from the

English .

He was defeated many times in the

battle field . He ran away in the forest

and hid himself in a cave .

One day he was sitting in a pensive

mood .All of a sudden his attention

was attracted by a spider who had

fallen from his cobweb .

He decided to see what the spider

would do?

He wanted to know whether the

spider would continue its efforts or

give it up.

It was hanging with a thread and trying

to go up .It had tried many times but

failed

Robert Bruce thought that the poor

spider would try no more .

It was to his surprise that the spider

did not loose heart and made NINE

attempts and succeed at last .

Seeing this a ray of hope shone on his

face . He thought that if the spider

could reach its cobweb after many

failures why could not he achieve his

goal .

He gathered his army and challenged the Britisers once again ,fought a

decisive battle ,defeated them and won the cherished freedom for his

COUNTRY.

Moral• Patience and perseverance overcome

mountains .• Failure is a stepping stone to Success• No depth of the ocean ,no height of the

mountain can be invincible if aided by true and sincere efforts.
