Faculty Recruitment Coordinator Closes: Monday, October 15, 2018 (Job #18-55) Confidential Office Support I, Faculty Recruitment Coordinator, $2,288-4,169/month. This is a full-time, benefitted, 12-month, non-exempt position with a one-year probationary period in the Department of Ac- ademic Personnel Services with an excellent benefits package that includes enhanced life insurance and vacation accrual. Anticipated start date is November 2018. Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs, the Facul- ty Recruitment Coordinator serves as the Academic Personnel Services (APS) lead for coordination of tenure-line, temporary faculty, temporary faculty pool, and academic dean and associate dean recruitments. This position also serves as lead support for implementation and enforcement of the Unit 11 Collective Bargaining Agreement for Academic Student Employees. Duties: Faculty Recruitment Coordination Oversee and facilitate the faculty recruitment process from initial authorization for recruitment through re- turned letter of offer and appointment Serve as a resource to department and college personnel regarding the recruitment and appointment process Ensure all steps of the recruitment process are properly recorded, approved, and documented Assist departments in the development and finalization of vacancy announcements Coordinate and conduct advertising placements of vacancy announcements Post vacancy announcements in the campusonline faculty recruitment tool (currently Interfolio), manage ap- plicant information, and provide reports based on this information as required Maintain APS website content with information on faculty, dean, and associate dean job vacancies and person- nel procedures Provide regular status reports on the progress of searches to the President, Cabinet, and AVP for Faculty Af- fairs. Equivalent to five years of progressively responsible general administrative support experience

Experience in calendar scheduling

Knowledge of web page applications, database software, and other software such as Acrobat Pro, and LiveCy-cle Designer

Experience with faculty, academic student employee, or staff recruitments

Knowledge of and experience using the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) data warehouse and PeopleSoft Human Capital Management systems
