■ One of the first steps is to come to a business strategy of what type of system is right for you. Here are some general questions in which we can cover with you.
Should you pick an SAP solution or should you go with an external Satellite System?
Do you need/want graphical displays? Do you want to utilize tools such as drop-down selection boxes?
Are you trying to utilize existing old mobile data equipment which is character based?
How many users will be utilizing the system?
Do you need other systems integrated, such as labeling systems and equipment?
What release of SAP do you have and are you planning on upgrading in the next few years?
So, what are each of these and which one is best for your application?
