Return to Campus
While we have employees who continued to work on campus during the past five months, we fully recognize that returning to campus may create anxiety for othersThough temporary telework arrangements have concluded, please know that we are taking every precaution to continue our efforts to maintain a “safe place to work” for all of our Marymount constituents –students, employees, vendors and visitors Your health and well-being is always our top priority
Return to Campus – PPE Bulk Ordering
• The university is placing periodic bulk orders of supplies for individual units across campus - this is a collective effort to ensure that units are stocked appropriately whilst being conscious of spending• The order form is only to be used for PPE and cleaning supplies that
are extra needs associated with COVID-19 - Units that routinely order PPE and cleaning supplies for their day to day operations should continue to order those items through their regular supplier and departmental/unit supplies GL• Link to Order PPE
Return to Campus – PPE Items
• Face sheilds have been delivered to the Deans and AD’s for both full time and part time faculty teaching this Fall Semester• For staff needs, please email Upen Malani and cc Michelle Walters-Edwards and
Sandy Lockett with the number of face shields required along with a list of employee names • Only one face shield is being issued per employee, replacements are available if
they break• Additional items available through Purchasing Department are disposable face
masks, cavicide spray bottles, disinfecting wipes, desk sized hand sanitizer bottles and gloves • Please email Sandy Lockett [email protected] in procurement
and she will arrange a drop off or schedule a collection with you directly per availability; Upen Malani is coordinating plexiglass shields so please email him directly at [email protected] about your needs for those to see what we already have in stock
Return to Campus – PPE Approval
• VP's/Dean's approval is needed to ensure oversight of the volume of ordering in the individual units • Orders will be placed on the 1st of every month beginning
September 1st and the same form will need to be completed every time you make a re-order so that we have accurate records – please note, shipping time can vary from 2-4 weeks depending on the item • The purchasing office will notify you when your items are ready to be
collected.• Thanks for working with us to make the campus environment as clean
and and as safe as possible whilst keeping expenditure and ordering within reasonable limits
Return to Campus – Cleaning
• Marymount has established a cleaning and disinfecting protocol that includes enhanced and frequent cleaning of highly touched surfaces (light switches, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, handrails, doorknobs, elevators, campus shuttles, etc.) as well as wiping down of tables, counters, chairs between groups of users in the dining hall, classrooms, labs, clinic waiting areas, etc. • These protocols are guided by CDC, OSHA and ACPHD guidelines. • Proper training for janitorial/housekeeping staff according to CDC and OSHA
guidelines including protocols for responding to positive COVID-19 cases is being provided by the contractor • Marymount has expanded the number of hand sanitizer dispensers to include all
elevator lobbies, lounges, building entrances and common areas. Plexiglass partitions have been installed to adequately separate customer-facing employees from customers
Return to Campus – Cleaning
• Resident Rooms have been deep cleaned and wiped down with EPA approved disinfectant • Electrostatic cleaning of all common areas in resident buildings/floors• Sodexo (Main Campus) and EMI (Ballston Center) have implemented
Pandemic Staffing Matrix which includes additional staff whose focus is on cleaning common areas and high touch surfaces• Classrooms will be cleaned between classes• Restrooms will be cleaned every hour• Ongoing staff training will be provided by contractor which will include
OSHA and EPA guidelines• Management will continue to remind staff on social distancing, PPE use,
face masks, hand-washing, isolation cleaning, and other COVID-19 safety precautions and alert that arise
