Principle 2: The Academic Model includes a variety of delivery methods (modalities)Details:As the Academic Model is not limited to the academic definition of learning opportunities, but also covers the administrative scaffolding required to deliver academic content, it captures different delivery methods.

Principle 3: the Academic Model supports any kind of time periodDetails:The concepts of term and session are “hard-wired” into the current UBC SIS. The new Academic Model needs to be able to support other kinds of time period (as well as the traditional session and term).
