1 . GENERAL INFORMATION

On the following pages, we have summarised the necessary precautions for the organisation of FABRIC DAYS from

1 - 3 September 2020, according to current regulations for reducing the risk of infection.

In general, everything that is currently permitted in public areas in Munich is also permitted on the exhibition grounds.

This concept has been drawn up to the best of our knowledge and beliefs and is regularly updated according to the developments of

state hygiene regulations. This concept refers strictly to the current Bavarian regulations on the organisation of major events at the time

of release on August 24, 2020.

The concept may only be reproduced for publication, either in full or in part, with the expressed written permission of MUNICH FABRIC

START Exhibitions GmbH.

FABRIC DAYS takes place in halls 1 -4 on the ground floor of the MOC Munich, the limited space ensures that safety and hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with current regulations.

As MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH, the organiser of FABRIC DAYS from 1 – 3 September 2020, we will implement the following measures to reduce the risk of infection:

All exits and hubs, including hall, catering and event areas have been thoughtfully planned to allow visitors, exhibitors and ser-vice partners to maintain the currently applicable minimum distance from each other at all times.

Aisle widths in the halls are planned according to the flow of visitors, so that one-way systems are not necessary and thus the flow of visitors is not restricted.

Route planning is in place at hall entrances, exits and hubs to avoid crowds of people and to keep the minimum distance.

Measures such as floor markings are in place to avoid queues.

Information on safety and hygiene measures, such as the need to wear a mouth and nose cover is provided throughout the venue.

A mouth and nose cover is provided if required.

Ticketing and admission control is digital and contactless. Visi-tors are advised that tickets are non-transferable.

All personnel on the exhibition grounds will be registered to ensure possible traceability.

Sufficient hand washing and disinfection facilities are provided on the exhibition grounds.

Contact surfaces outside of stand areas will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.

Continuous fresh air circulation is ensured across all areas.

Exhibitors will be advised on how to implement and communi-cate the applicable rules of conduct at the exhibition stands.

Currently valid gastronomy regulations are implemented in café bars, catering stations and trade fair restaurants.

Important Note:Trade fair visitors, exhibitors and participants who have had contact with positively tested COVID-19patients in the last 14 days, who are infected with COVID-19 or who show the known COVID-19symptoms, are kindly asked to take their responsibility and stay away from the show. This also applies to persons who are under domestic quarantine. Persons with symptoms of illness will not be granted access to the fair.

Our recommendations:Use the CORONA-WARN-APP of the German government during your stay in Germany. The Corona-Warn-App helps to determine whether you have come into contact with an infected person and whether there is a risk of infection. In this way, chains of infection can be interrup-ted more quickly. Download and use of the app is completely voluntary. It is available free of charge in the App Store and can be downloa-ded from Google Play.

Kindly make sure you stay informed about the current Covid-19 status in Germany on the homepages of the Bavarian government (only in German), the Federal Ministry of Health (in English) and the Robert Koch Institute:www.bayern.de | www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/en/en.html | www.rki.de/EN

Please also observe your country’s travel and safety instructions when travelling to or returning from Germany. People coming from few countries may face self-isolation when entering Germany or returning to their home country. To stay informed, regularly check the list of risk areas designated by the Bavarian State and these areas’ entry restrictions to Germany, quarantine regulations and the negative test result exception on the German Foreign Office homepage.www.auswaertiges-amt.de/en

Specific information on the general hygiene concept for trade fairs can be found in this announcement of the Bavarian State Ministries (only in German):www.verkuendung-bayern.de/baymbl/2020-419/

Shortly before the trade fair, we will provide all trade fair participants with information about the hygiene and security concept. On site, suitable media will also point out the measures.

3. SAFETY & HYGIENE CONCEPT – MEASURES TAKEN BY THE EXHIBITORS

Only together can we ensure the organisation of a trade fair event despite Covid-19. All exhibitors at FABRIC DAYS from 1 - 3 September 2020 will follow these precautions:

Exhibitors ensure that their employees, colleagues and visitors can maintain the required distance rule of 1.5m at their stand at all times.

Exhibitors ensure that the general distancing rules and the obli-gation to wear a mouth and nose cover at their stand area is followed.

Exhibitors regularly disinfect any work surfaces within their stand areas.

In case of offering individual stand catering, exhibitors record the contact details of all persons present at their stand.

Exhibitors provide hand disinfectants for people present within their stand areas.

Exhibitors ensure that all personal work equipment is reduced to the minimum necessary amount and is only used by the owner.

Exhibitors ensure that their employees and colleagues on the stand are informed in advance and on a daily basis of any pos-sible developments in the hygiene concept measures.

Exhibitors adhere to these measures and actively inform visitors and colleagues of the safety precautions in case of possible disregard.

We would like to thank all our visitors and exhibitors for their understanding and support in carrying out this concept.

If the future infection status allows it, relaxation of the hygiene measures could be possible. We will inform you shortly before the FABRIC DAYS event of any changes or updates.
