One of the elements of the educational process in the context of credit technology is the use of a point-rating system for student achievement assessment. The grading policy is based on the principles of objectivity, transparency, flexibility and high ranking. The study ends with an exam discipline in various forms (written or oral examination, testing), which covers all the material covered. A prerequisite for admission to the examination is to perform all the tasks envisaged in the program.

Each task is evaluated 0-100 points.

Assessment of the rating of admission (RA), which is calculated as the arithmetic average of the sum of all assessments of current and midterm controls received during the academic period:RA = (CC1 + CC2 + CC3 + .... + CCn + MC1 + MC2) / (n + 2),where, RA - admission rating; CC - current control; MC- midterm control; n is the number of current controls; 2 - the number of midterm controls.By the final control (FC) on the subject admitted students who meet all the requirements of the working curriculum (execution and delivery of all practical (seminar, laboratory) work and assignments in IWST, IWS) who received the admission rating (at least 50 points).Students who do not have a positive assessment of the admission rating for discipline (at least 50%) are not allowed to the exam. The final grade for the discipline is calculated automatically by the formula:F = (M1 + M2) /2*0.6 + exam.grade*0.4,

where, M1 - assessment of the first midterm control; M2 - assessment of the second midterm control. The final grade of the discipline is calculated only if the student has positive grades both in the admission rating and in the final control. If you fail to appear at the final control for a valid or disrespectful reason, “0” (zero) shall be set in the column “Examination grade”. The results of intermediate attestation in the discipline are communicated to students on the same day.

10. Teacher requirements, policies and procedures

The policy of assessing students' academic achievements is based on the principles of academic honesty, unity of requirements, objectivity and fairness, openness and transparency. In the first lesson, the teacher acquaints students with the content of the working curriculum (syllabus) of the discipline, the planned learning outcomes in the academic discipline and the procedures for their assessment.

In the case of academic dishonesty on the part of university students:- during classroom and extracurricular activities: after the first violation committed by the created commission, a conversation is held with the student; the act fixes the warning issued and the measure taken (reduction in grades for the work being assessed; cancellation of the student’s written work, recommendation for re-conducting the control measure, etc.). In case of repeated assumption of facts of academic dishonesty during the academic year, a commission is created again, an act is drawn up and submitted to the Disciplinary and Anti-Corruption Council (hereinafter - DAC) for further decisions;- during the intermediate or final attestation: a student who has shown academic dishonesty is removed from the audience without the right to retake the exam in the same academic period. At the same time, the entry “Deleted from the exam for the manifestation of academic dishonesty” is entered in the examination sheet, indicating its type. Repeated examination is carried out in the Summer semester or in the next academic semester for a fee. At the same time, the student is again enrolled in this discipline, attends all

Page 16: euniver.vkgu.kzeuniver.vkgu.kz/public/files/4949_Силлабус... · Web viewof discipline “Foreign Language (English)” are: mastering the specifics of spoken and written forms

types of training sessions, performs all types of academic work according to the working curriculum and passes the exam. In the case of repeated removal from the exam (during the entire period of study at the university), the student is expelled without the right to further restoration at EKSU.

Students attending all classroom activities without delay is mandatory. In case of skipping classes are practiced in the manner prescribed by the dean's office.

The presence at the lectures of unauthorized persons who are not a contingent of students of this course is prohibited.

Work should be completed on time. The deadline for all assignments is 5 days before the exam session.

Repetition of the topic and development of the materials passed for each training session are required. The degree of development of educational materials is checked by tests or written work. Students can be tested without warning.

When performing the student’s independent work under the guidance of a teacher (IWST), consider the following main functions:- the first - involves the implementation of an active perception by students of teacher information received during the installation classes in the discipline;- the second function assumes that students on their own, based on the recommendations of the teacher, study teaching aids, literary sources, perform homework, control and term papers, etc. At this stage, students are required to know the working methods, fix their difficulties, self-organization and self-discipline;- the third function of students is to analyze and systematize their difficult situations, identify the causes of difficulties in understanding and mastering the training material, and performing other educational activities. Students translate insoluble difficulties into the system of questions for the teacher (they rank them, arrange, draw up), build their own versions of the answers to these questions;- the fourth function of students is to contact the teacher for relevant explanations, advice, consultations.
