"Coming Soon to a Newsletter Near You?" While I can't vouch for the facts here, each of these church news-letter "Misspeakings" is purported to have really been published. For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs. I guess that would be quite a revelation! Due to the Rector's illness, Wednesday's Healing Services will be discontinued until further notice. Physician, heal thyself? Bertha Belch, a missionary from Africa, will be speak-ing tonight at Calvary Methodist church. Come hear Bertha Belch all the way from Africa! There are at least two in my home who could challenge that! Don't miss Saturday's exhibit by Christian Martian Arts. They probably studied the Red Planet during Pentecost. Barbara remains in the hospital and is having trouble sleep-ing. She has requested tapes of Pastor Nelson's sermons. What, you need my punchline for this one? Please place your donation in the envelope, along with the deceased person(s) you want remembered. Well, they say a lot of Christian people are very narrow... Diana and Don request your presents at their wedding. This one may have swerved into the truth. The choir invites anyone who enjoys sinning to join the choir. I'll bet they had to order more choir robes! Ushers will eat latecomers. That'll teach them to be on time! Weight Watchers will meet at 7 pm. Please use the large dou-ble doors at the side entrance. That's just wrong. Y'all laugh a little, and we'll see you in worship Sunday! In Joy, Tom
