1. To love the Lord our God
with all our heart and with all
our soul and with all our mind
and with all our strength.
2. To love our neighbors as
ourselves.
3. To go and make
disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey
everything Christ has
commanded us.

Everyone is asked to fill out a Fellowship Card, which you will find in the song book rack. If you
have questions or comments, feel free to write them on the back of the Fellowship Card, or talk
to any member. The cards are picked up at the start of our service or can be placed in an
offering plate.
For visitors, more general information is available on bookmarks in the Bibles located in the

Scripture passages, we tried each
week to understand how that
evening’s Scripture fit into the
story we had already observed.
“Lord, thank you for bringing
together this group of people to
grow closer to you and one
another. Thank you for bringing
people to Circle Church of Christ
from various parts of the world.
Please continue to do so. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Bible Study: “Acts, Every Member
on Mission”
Last evening, we shared a dinner
together, then spent time singing
and praying. Children participated
some times and drifted between toys
most of the time. The most touching
part of the event was hearing the
prayers of people. Many have grown
from a simple sentence to heartfelt
expressions of thanks and requests
to God. I was overjoyed as people
from other nations thanked God for
bringing them to Corvallis and Circle
Church of Christ.
Our consistent format enabled many
different people to lead the Bible
study discussion. As a result, I was
smiling as 8 people indicated that
they felt prepared and comfortable to
lead a group in the future. We
studied a series of Scriptures from
the Old Testament, then the New
Testament. The aim was to see the
overall story line of God and People
that the Bible emphasizes. Rather
than simply reading several isolated
As the 2013-14 Life Group season
wraps up, I want to pause and
celebrate the group that Pam and
I participated in. The International
Life Group met each Wednesday
at the UCC. Members were a
blend of long term Circle members
and people who are newer to the
congregation; including several
college students. Nations
represented included China, India,
Iran, Myanmar and the United
States.

What a great week blessing fellow brethren. Some of the UCCers went to the
McKenzie Church of Christ and helped them roof their church building on Thurs-
day. Others served by cleaning the UCC and weed-eating and pulling weeds. If
you would like to serve this summer by working on a project at the UCC let me
know.
Thank you for supporting Brian and Kristin last weekend at their wedding. Thank
you also for supporting all of our engaged couples with the wedding shower. All
