PROCEDURE: Mix ingredients of Phase A while heating to 80oC. Mix Bentonite and water while heating to 75oC, continue to stir for 20 minutes then add additional ingredients of Phase B. Mix ingredients of Phase C until Xanthan Gum is wet then add to the hot Phase B with stirring. Mix for 2 minutes. Add Phase A to the hot Phase B/C and homogenize with high shear. Cool to 40oC then add Phase D and mix with propeller mixer at medium speed. Adjust to pH 5.0-5.5 with Phase E.
