House, converted from a 19th Century Stable Yard. Each cottage en-suite

bedroom is made more comfortable by custom-made beds of regal proportions,

power showers, flat screen TV’s, Egyptian towels and fresh crisp linen. Whilst down-

stairs the sitting rooms are made cosy by a ‘flick of a switch’ electric fires and the

kitchen areas come complete with a well-stocked mini bar.

With accommodation for up to 30 guests, there is a choice of 1 and 2 bedroom

cottages and one family cottage, wonderful for family occasions, or simply a night

away with a loved one.

Set in the ‘Garden Village’ at Tankardstown, Brabazon is our à la carte restaurant

offering seasonal dishes that are beautifully presented and sensitively priced. The

option of our sensational 7 Course Tasting Menu is becoming more and more popu-

lar with our discerning diners. Select a wine to compliment your choice of menu or

enjoy one of our recommendations.

French doors lead seamlessly to the outdoor terrace and garden area complete

with awning and patio heaters, where diners can enjoy dining alfresco, when the

weather is clement. The dining experience in Brabazon is a feast for the eyes and

the palate. Ornate, intimate surroundings, an open fire and candlelight are the

perfect backdrop in which to savour the wonderful dishes created by Head Chêf

Rob and his team.

House smoked meats and salami, and our very own busy honey bees are the latest

additions at Tankardstown to compliment the fresh produce from the ever evolving

walled kitchen garden, poly tunnels and field, providing the Restaurants with a

bountiful variety of just-picked salads, herbs and vegetables. The resident hens also

do their bit and provide fresh eggs along with providing the background ‘clucking’

to be heard when entering the Garden Village.

The Cellar Restaurant and Bar is a place for good food and relaxation. The carefully created daytime menu offers the casual diner a wide selection of both main course dishes and light bites, whilst the more voracious diner can still craft a delicious 3 course meal from the wide range available.

Children are also most welcome and are well catered for, our wood fired pizza oven proves to be very popular with our smaller guests.

Afternoon Tea, complete with goodies from our own Bakery, Slane Bake, is a treat by the fire on cold days or outside by the fountain on warmer days.

Definitely worth a trip into the countryside for a relaxing afternoon which could stretch seamlessly into the evening. golf, with excellent parkland courses at Headfort in Kells and Royal Tara in Navan, or the

more challenging links courses in Laytown or Baltray, Co Louth, all are within a 20 minute

radius of Tankardstown. Probably the most well known is Killeen Castle, home to the 2011

Solheim Cup. We are more than happy to point you in the right direction and can book tee
