All units come with a 10 year manufacturers limited warranty.

Model 240 and 246 are 9 litre and 6 litre water extinguishers and utilises the famous Amerex stainless steel body with a heavy duty chrome plated brass valves and stainless steel handles.

The 240 discharge time of between 40-50 seconds and the 246 discharge time of between 25-35 seconds. Plus the long range, makes both extinguishers effective and inexperience operator friendly. For use on Class A fires.

Model 272 contains 9 litres of distilled water and discharges a fine water mist which is the ultimate extinguisher for Class A fires, especially where a potential electrical hazard exists. The fine spray from the unique mistings nozzle provides safety from electrical shock, greatly enhances the cooling and soaking characteristics of the media and reduces the scattering of burning material. Unequivocally the best extinguisher for hospital enviroments, telecommunications facilities and ‘clean room’ manufacturing facilities.

WATER MIST

Model 249 is a 9 litre water plus additive extinguisher and utilises the famous Amerex stainless steel body with a heavy duty chrome plated brass valves and stainless steel handles.

The discharge time of between 40-50 seconds makes it very effective for inexperienced operators to use on Class A fires.

These extinguishers contain an AFFF foam solution giving excellent Class A and Class B fire extinguishing capability. Model 250 is fitted with an aspirating branch pipe, whilst models 256 and 259 are supplied with a patented spray nozzle for easy and effective application. All models are manufactured with stainless steel body, fitted with heavy duty chrome plated brass valves and stainless steel handles.

These extinguishers have identical specifications as the Kite marked models with the exception, that they come in polished stainless steel finish instead of a red painted finish.

Model 260 Wet Chemical extinguisher is the best cooking oil fire extinguisher that you can purchase. Tested and certified to both BS EN3 and BS 7937, this extinguisher gives you maximum protection, especially for the new Class F fires.

The fine spray gives almost immediate flame extinguishing whilst wet chemical agent reacts with the oil to form a soap-like film to seal the surface of the oil and cool it down.

Manufactured with a stainless steel body, fitted with heavy duty chrome plated valves and stainless steel handles.

These models contain high specification ABC powder and are manufactured from high strength steel cylinders with a red epoxy polyester paint finish. Both models have aluminium valves and handles.

Model 920 and 950 are the 2kg and 5kg carbon dioxide extinguishers in the Amerex range.These models are manufactures from lightweight aluminium alloy cylinders with a red paint finish. Both models have brass valves.

Carbon dioxide is discharged as a white cloud which smothers the fire by eliminating its oxygen. It is effective for Class B flammable liquid fires and is electrically non-conductive.
