The founders of Express Lifts boast 50 years of combined technical and commercial experience. This is their story.
In 1985, Indian buildings rarely installed lifts and elevators; they were not tall enough. But that didn't stop two men from seeing that buildings in India would soon need elevators to carry tenants and visitors. Coincidentally, around this time, manufacturers in the US and Germany began to develop MRL traction elevators. If these two men could bring those elevators to India, they knew they would fill a need.
Undaunted by the dominance of German heavyweights in the elevator industry, the two men formed Express Lifts in 1995. The existence and continued success of the company is a testament to their enterprising spirit, determination, and vision.

Screw PumpScrew pumps are used to pump oils or other lubricating liquids, non-lubricating liquids, or liquids with poor lubricating properties.

Machine Room-Less (MRL) lifts are traction elevators that feature a compact motor drive mounted on the car itself. They don’t require to build a separate elevator machine room.
MRL lifts allow you architectural flexibility, but they also provide fast, powerful and energy-efficient transportation. Though traction lifts were originally limited to high-rises, the innovative MRL design has allowed engineers to adapt traction elevators for low-rise buildings and multi-story homes.

In response to concerns raised by building owners and the elevator industry, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), in conjunction with its Elevating Devices Advisory Council, recommended the formation of a task group drawn from industry stakeholders.
Its purpose was to review the issue of elevator machine room equipment guarding and assist in the development of a reference document highlighting current best practices concerning equipment guarding. The guideline could then be used by building owners and the elevator industry to promote better understanding of proper elevator machine room equipment guarding, and aid in the development of appropriate design requirements for elevator installations.
