Almere
As part of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, Almere is located between two international airports and near the Port of Amsterdam. Almere features a multitude of highways, railways and waterways. This makes Almere a prime location for living, to build your own house or for business development and opportunities. Almere has an abundance of space available to accommodate both residential and commercial property investments. It has excellent procedures in place facilitating the licensing or sale of land to set up new businesses or expand established businesses.
Almere came into existence on the drawing board in 1976. The city was designed from scratch based on a multi-centre plan that would incorporate as much of the surrounding water and nature as possible. In 2022, Almere is going to host the 7th Floriade World Horticultural Expo. After the exhibition, a new district will emerge on the site, including housing, regional facilities and also space for national and international companies, thereby offering plenty of opportunities for entrepreneurs and property developers alike.

Delft
Delft is the innovative heart of the region that covers The Hague (seat of the Dutch government) and Rotterdam (Europe’s largest seaport). Only a 15 minute train ride away from these metropoles, Delft is a city all of its own. It houses the internationally reputed technological university TU Delft and several other high-tech institutions. Global players like 3M, IKEA, DSM and UNESCO have branches here. In the slipstream of all these commercial and scientific organisations, innovative, internationally oriented and highly educated people work, live and study here.
As a result, the city is teeming with life and creativity. It boasts a rich cultural life, world famous Delftware and more than 750 years of history. Painter Johannes Vermeer lived and worked here, as did William of Orange (ancestor of the Dutch royal family). Today, Delft keeps moving on. Recently the railway has been extended and gone underground, making room for new housing and other real estate developments in the heart of the city. At this moment, for those who recognize opportunity, Delft is offering a world of possibilities.

Park 20|20
Park 20I20 in Hoofddorp is the world’s first full service business park designed and built in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) philosophy which was co-authored by the American architect William McDonough and German chemist Michael Braungart. C2C philosophy strives for a closed cycle of materials, energy and water as well as the enrichment of biodiversity by application of the principle of ‘waste is food’.
At Park 20|20 this philosophy is translated into an attractive area of buildings with high quality architecture and an integrated unique landscape where great attention is paid to innovative and energy-saving measures, clean energy and a variety of amenities that enhance vibrancy and convenience. Several large companies have already chosen for Park 20I20, including Bosch Siemens Huishoudapparaten (B/S/H), ANWB Reizen, Bluewater Energy Services, Plantronics en FIFPro. NOW Building, the first multi-tenant building of Park 20|20, is now under constuction.

The Hague
The Hague is a growing city. For years, it has been a magnet for internationals and professionals and lately it is attracting more and more students as well. This steady stream of new residents is spurred in particular by the presence of the numerous international organisations located here. Indeed, this City of Peace and Justice is not just the seat of government of the Netherlands, but also one of the most important UN cities in the world.
That’s why companies like Shell, Total and Siemens have chosen to locate their head offices or important operations here. With the development of The Hague Security Delta, the biggest security cluster in Europe, more and more start-ups and technology firms are also choosing to come to The Hague. Large and small, long-established and innovative: these companies are located in and around the Beatrixkwartier, the second business district in the Netherlands. Easily accessible, close to the historic city centre and just a stone’s throw away from the eleven-kilometre long sandy beach. That’s unique in Europe.

Utrecht
Central and strategically located at the crossroads of water, roads and railways, Utrecht has been a hub for new developments and learning since Roman times. Utrecht’s working population is the nation’s youngest and highest educated (58%); and the number of residents will grow to 355 000 in 2020.
To accommodate this growth: • Utrecht will build 8 500 homes between 2015 and 2018.
The Leidsche Rijn Centre programme of 800 000 m2 gfa includes retail, housing, offices and cultural facilities.
• Utrecht Science Park is the Netherlands’ largest science park. Its focus areas are life sciences, health and sustainability. USP has a €1,2 billion investment programme (2013-2018).
• We work with our partners on the nation’s largest inner-city redevelopment project: a new Railway Station Area, already used by more than 90 million people yearly.

Vesteda
Vesteda is a residential investor offering its tenants good quality and affordable living. We invest funds for institutional investors with a long-term horizon. With a portfolio of about 23,000 residential units representing a total value of €4 billion, we are the largest independent residential fund in the Netherlands.
The shortage of (affordable) homes will increase further in the years ahead, especially in the economically stronger regions and in the mid-rental segment. Vesteda therefore aims at increasing the portfolio’s concentration on the mid-market rental segment with a main focus on primary regions.
We strive for qualitative and sustainable growth of the portfolio and focus on the acquisition of both new-build and existing residential units. Our disclosed acquisitions pipeline currently consists of more than 1,500 residential units with an indicative market value at completion of almost €350 million, largely located in the strong markets of Amsterdam and Utrecht.

Zaanstad
The city of Zaanstad is a part of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The region is functioning as a magnet because of its diverse pallet of different living environments which varies from urban core to rural periphery. Therefore there is a significant pressure in the housing market. To meet the additional demand for housing the city of Zaanstad has to build a significant part of the 300.000 new houses which are needed between now and 2040 in the AMA. We welcome partners to realize these ambitions.
To accommodate this growth:• New city center of Zaandam: Over a 100 acres, 700 million of investments in a new canal, offices, a cinema, shops and about 2,000 new houses.• Amsterdam-ZaanIJ Waterfront: Miles and miles of waterfront connect the river Zaan with the river IJ to downtown Amsterdam. This is a huge urban development project with numerous historical industrial sites where we develop about 7,000 new housing units.

Zuidas Amsterdam
Zuidas is the international urban knowledge and business centre of Amsterdam. Strategically situated, Zuidas is just a stone’s throw from International Airport Schiphol and the city centre. In fact, from the airport you can be in the heart of Zuidas within seven minutes by train.
About 700 national and international companies are already based in the Zuidas area. Just as one of the Netherlands’ largest universities and a prestigious university medical centre. But Zuidas is more than just a place to work or study. With about 7000 homes in the future, Zuidas will be Amsterdam’s second most prominent housing location with shops, restaurants and cultural activities. In 2017 project Zuidasdok will start. This development involves expanding Amsterdam Zuid train station, widening the A10 motorway, partly underground, developing a public transport terminal and the reconstruction of public areas. The objective is to improve traffic flow and allow new urban development.
