Oh adorable Lord of mercy and love

Salutation and prostration unto thee

Thou art Sachitananda,

Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient.

Thou art the in dweller of all the beings

Give us an understanding heart,

Equal vision, balanced mind,

Faith, devotion and wisdom.

Give us inner spiritual strength

Free us from egoism, lust, greed and hatred.

Fill our hearts with divine virtues.

Let us behold and serve thee in all names and forms

Let thy name be ever on our lips

Let us abide in thee forever and ever.

We give you thanks, Almighty God, For all the blessings

you have conferred upon us. O my God, we thank you

for this beautiful day and for all the knowledge and

wisdom you have showered upon us.

Let your name be ever on our lips

SCHOOL PRAYER

THANKS GIVING PRAYER

12

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, pardon.

Where there is doubt, faith.

Where there is despair, hope.

Where there is darkness, light.

Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not

So much seek to be consoled as to console

To be understood as to understand.

To be loved, as to love

For it is in giving that we receive

It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

Oh, Divine Master

Bless our country and my fellow countrymen.

Make her true to her ideals of freedom, justice and brotherhood.

Protect and preserve her natural resources.

Guard our country from war, terrorism, natural calamities,

Compromise, fear and confusion.

Guide and foster our leaders and our statesmen.

Grant them wisdom, vision, courage and discernment.

Bless them to administer our nation with peace, integrity and development.

Make me deeply aware of our national heritage;

Realizing my rights, duties and responsibilities as a citizen.

Make our country and our fellow countrymen know thy will,

That they may fulfill, the destiny ordained for us.

Vande Mataram

Mother, I bow to thee !

Rich with thy hurrying streams,

Bright with thy orchard gleams,

Cool with thy winds of delight,

Dark fields waving,

Mother of might, Mother free.

Glory of moonlight dreams

Over thy branches and lordly streams,

Clad in thy blossoming trees,

Mother, giver of ease,

Laughing low and sweet !

Mother, I kiss thy feet,

Speaker sweet and low !

Mother, to thee I bow.

NATIONAL ANTHEM

Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people, dispenser of India’s

destiny. Thy name rouses the heart of the Punjab, Sindhu, Gujarat

and Maratha, of the Dravida and Odisha and Bengal; it echoes in

the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas, mingles in the music of

the Yamuna and Ganges and is chanted by the waves of the

Indian ocean. They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise. The

saving of all people waits in thy hand, thou, dispenser of India’s destiny.

Victory, Victory, Victory to thee.
