How you can help your child succeed in 6th grade science:

Ask them to explain what we are learning in science. Evidence of understanding is more important than rote memorization.

Look at their work. Encourage excellence and pride in doing their best.

Foster independence and responsibility, but be sure to monitor them.

Encourage them to spend time reviewing notes.
