A. GEOLOGICAL/GEOPHYSICAL EXPLORATION MANAGEMENT AND RESERVE
ESTIMATION
Usually the mineral reserves are the sole revenue basis of a mining venture. Accurate
resource and reserve statements are of utmost importance for correct investment
decisions and mine planning. Thus, we to externally explore the chosen area by
constructing and analyzing a 3-Dimentional digital deposit model for geological
appraisals. Once an accurate estimation of potential mineral resources is created, we
provide you with reports, in compliance with international codes (JORC/ NI 43-101/
SAMREC/ PERC), on resources and reviews of reserves. We extend our skills and
capacities in the areas of our exploration management by deploying the following;
Digital Mapping and GIS Applications
Prospectively Modeling of AOI
3D geological models and interpretations
Geological and 2d/3d Geophysical Mapping
Sampling and drilling programmes management
Selection of suitable drillers and assay laboratories
B. MINING ENGINEERING
Challion provides experts who are trained in mining engineering to provide
solutions in various areas of opencast mine design, planning and optimization by
using mine planning software packages, including GEMCOM Minex and Land
Development.

2. Opportunity and Feasibility Studies
Our studies range from early stage opportunity studies, through pre-feasibility
studies to bankable document preparation, such as feasibility studies. Every
technical, economic and environmental aspect of the project is investigated to the
level of detail commensurate with the available information and is followed up with
a detailed project report.
A sensitivity analysis is performed for studies at a more advanced stage, when input
parameters can be determined more accurately. This is followed by a risk analysis for
the more sensitive parameters, to assess the risk of project failure.
These studies will provide guidance at each stage of the project, including mine
restructuring, mine expansion, and rehabilitation, or while looking for investment
alternatives. They can also be the basis for raising capital in the form of equity or
loans.
3. Training and Capacity Development
Our experts are of leading training capability .Mine training can be given in the form of
formal training including practical training exercises at our training centre or on-the-
job training. It can be provided at your site or at our office. We offer training in the
