ITIL® v3 MALC Requirements

ITIL® v3 MALC Key ProcessesITIL® v3 MALC covers an overview of the following processes:

nuTraining is an all-inclusive experience to our students.We provide:

All meals and snacks, including hot breakfast (second day onwards), à la carte lunch on-venue, morning and afternoon tea, and general refreshment.

Official volumes (where appropriate) and courseware (developed in-house) including extra reference guides, scenario-based examples, sample exams, etc.

Comfortably crafted learning environment, using classroom aids and technology to stimulate student engagement and discussions.

nuTraining focuses on the outcome of the course – that is to further our students knowledge and understanding of the international framework and/or methodology, by exploring the management control mechanisms of the lifecycle and processes, and how they apply to the IT service lifecycle.

At the beginning of each day we cover the importance of key definitions and relate them to a range of business environments, before moving through the course materials. At the end of key topics, the instructors will engage the students in a discussion regarding how to apply the material in real-life business scenarios.

Finally, we always hold an informal debrief session after the exam for the candidates, and we take onboard all feedback provided.

Our Delivery Approach

Prerequisites:

Candidates wishing to be trained and examined for this qualification must already hold:

o ITIL® v3 Foundation certificate in IT Service Management (2 credits from the v3 Foundation, or v2 Foundation plus Bridge Certificate).

o A further 15 credits (a total of at least 17 credits) as a minimum from a balanced selection of ITIL® service Lifecycle or service Capabilities modules, or other complementary qualifications.

Documentary evidence of these must be presented to gain admission to this certification level. Points made up of intermediate certifications and Foundation certificate, and other complementary qualifications.

Required reading:

Approximately 3-4 hours of study on ITIL® v3 Foundation and Intermediate courses.

Examination format:

Supervised closed book exam.

10 multiple choice, case study and scenario-based, gradient-style questions.

Duration: 120 minutes.

Pass mark: 35 out of 50 (70%).
