A good example are e-bikes that currently develop froma niche to amass-marketproduct–aprocessthat ismadepossiblebytheavailabilityofhighenergydensitybatteryandmagnetmaterialsintegratedincompact,well-designede-drives.EIT RawMaterials (CLC Central) and its partners Fraunhofer, TU Darmstadt, Heraeus andMaterialsValleyinviteindustrialexpertsandacademicstodiscusschallengesandneedswithregards to functional materials in the mobility sector. Special focus will be on batteries, magnetic materials, and e-drives with the aim to develop a roadmap for materialsdevelopmentsandfuturecollaborationactivities.Contact: NoraGroth–EITRawMaterials,CentralCLC Phone:+4916243200229Mail:[email protected]
