Youth Ministry Trip with Echo Ranch Bible Camp Haines, Alaska Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Juneau, AK began in 1964 as the result of the vision of Allen and Catherine McMurchie who want- ed their homestead to serve the youth of Southeast Alaska. But before that, in 1948, Rainbow Glacier Camp was started by the Presbyterian church in Haines, AK and continued to operate until 2017, when it was given to Echo Ranch Bible Camp. Sit- uated 6 miles from Haines on Paradise Cove, with the stunning view of Rainbow Glacier and over 50 acres of wilderness, it provides a wonderful opportunity for Haines and beyond to experience God. It is our mission to develop this camp in ways that will increase the opportunity for ministry locally and beyond. Haines: The Adventure Capital of Alaska Haines, Alaska is like no other desnaon. Our Staff will provide:

Special speaker for worship sessions

Three meals a day

Ministry into the community and service projects around camp, such as helping churches with VBS, painting, clearing hiking trails, cleaning, and more

Playground & recreational equipment (zip line, volleyball, archery, hatchet throwing, Frisbee, etc)

Coordination of special events

What’s the Cost of This Once-in-a-Lifetime Trip?

If you choose to book a youth trip to Haines, we will work with you to

determine the price for your unique group. Costs will vary depending on

dates, trip focus, etc, but here are some per-person averages:

*Roundtrip airfare to Juneau: $700 (average, depends on location & dates) *Food while overnight in Juneau: Team’s responsibility *Roundtrip ferry to Haines: $100 (approximate) *Stay at camp: $50 a day *Optional Special Activities: -2 hour kayak trip on Chilkoot Lake: $50

-Visit to Skagway: $75

Average per Person: $1,200

Experience Alaska: Wake up in the

morning to the view and sound of

walk through the camp, hike in the

wilderness and take a kayak on a glacier

filled lake.

• Experience God through His creation

and be challenged to have a personal,

growing relationship with Him through

the ministry of our special speaker and

team of dedicated staff.

• Experience Serving: Get involved with

local churches in their ministry to the

youth, help with community outreach,

and work with camp projects.

Church youth groups of up to 40 people

(including chaperones) are welcome!

Your team will provide:

Chaperones and supervision during all activities and projects

Music / singers for worship sessions

Coordination of team devotions and recreation time

Qualified life guard

Background checks for team members over 18

Medical care and insurance

Sample Daily Schedule (flexible!):

7:00 AM - Wake up, devotions, breakfast

8:30 AM - Worship Session

9:30 AM - Begin service project

12:30 PM - Lunch break

3:00 PM - Afternoon recreation activities

5:30 PM - Dinner

6:30 PM - Worship Session

8:00 PM - Evening activity

10:30 PM - Bed time
