Youth Ministry Trip with Echo Ranch
Bible Camp Haines, Alaska
Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Juneau, AK
began in 1964 as the result of the vision of
Allen and Catherine McMurchie who want-
ed their homestead to serve the youth of
Southeast Alaska. But before that, in 1948,
Rainbow Glacier Camp was started by the
Presbyterian church in Haines, AK and
continued to operate until 2017, when it
was given to Echo Ranch Bible Camp. Sit-
uated 6 miles from Haines on Paradise
Cove, with the stunning view of Rainbow
Glacier and over 50 acres of wilderness, it
provides a wonderful opportunity for Haines
and beyond to experience God. It is our
mission to develop this camp in ways that
will increase the opportunity for ministry
locally and beyond.
