CLT Language Academy uses the Common European Framework of

Reference for Languages (CEFR), the

international standard for describing language ability.

Our placement and exit tests are designed to measure each student’s language

ability at the start and finish of our

courses. By using placement tests, CLT Language Academy can place each

student in the level for which they are

best suited, maximizing students’ study time and enabling students to achieve

their potential. Levels start at A1 and go

up to C2.

Students who take 16 or 20 hours of

lessons take the placement test before arriving to CLT Language Academy. Our

qualified teachers place the students in

classes according to the correct CEFR level. At the end of the course, students

take the exit test so our teachers can

measure how much the student has improved during their study at CLT

Language Academy. Those findings are

reported to the student.
