The university has a policy that all employees traveling on university business complete a travel authorization prior to traveling in order to submit a reimbursement. It is imperative that you do this – they have considered stating that anyone traveling without an approved TA is not eligible for reimbursement. See Shannon before you travel and she will assist you with completion. Also, the 60 day rule continues to apply. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE AWARDED if it is past the 60 day rule – this is a state law and therefore no one is exempt. International Food BazaarThis week is the International Food Bazaar. It will take place on

Friday, November 15th, 11:00-1:30 in the Nebraska Union. There will be a variety of food from different student clubs, representing Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America. Students of Russian and of Czech representing the Russian Club and The Czech Komensky Club will be cooking for the Food Bazaar on Thursday, November 14th 8.00-2.00 and in the morning November 15th in the Saint Mark on the Campus church kitchen. Everybody who wants to help, or learn how to prepare pirozhki, pilaf, or Moravian goulash and dumplings, is welcome.

We hope that the department will support the culinary efforts of our students. Please, announce in your classes.

The abstract should consist of only the title of the paper or panel followed by the text of the abstract with no personal information. On a separate attachment please include the following: name, email, institution address, telephone number (office or home), and title of your presentation. Submissions of panels of three or four presenters organized around a common theme are encouraged. Individual presentation time should not exceed twenty minutes. Please notify us if you require audiovisual equipment such as laptops, projectors, or speakers.
