Expanding the ICS
A Group is an organizational level having responsibility for a Specific Functional Assignment. This is managed by a Group Supervisor.
A Strike Team is a group of resources of the same size and type (e.g. three patrol cars, two task force units etc.)

Realizing that the incident was more widespread than initially reported, the
IC decided to use the strike team differently. He established divisions:

Divisions are used to divide an incident into geographic areas of operation. It is located within the ICS organization between the Branch and the Task Force/ Strike Team. They are identified by alphabet characters for horizontal applications and by floor numbers when used in buildings
