0.3 The training materials are not designed for independent learning. They complement the course instructors explanations. Your materials include room to note down additional information.

0.4 The objectives of the mySAP All-in-One technical curriculum are to deliver a curriculum that:

Is tailored to the needs of the SME partner

Is fast and cost-effective

Provides the most direct path to technical competency

The target audience for this curriculum is new SME partner organizations with industry knowledge but no SAP know-how, or new hires at existing VAR organizations (system reseller) with industry and SAP knowledge.

Level 1 training for solution consultants is provided exclusively through e-learning. It is designed to introduce the learner to mySAP All-in-One, the mySAP Business Suite, and, in particular, the key products that are used in the SME market: mySAP ERP and SAP NetWeaver.

The curriculum begins with a welcome video for channel partners, a short tutorial teaching you how to navigate in SAP systems, and a general SAP overview session that is delivered as an online training class (recorded), or live upon request.

Participants are then guided though the ERP training classes, in which you will learn the capabilities of mySAP ERP and see examples of how it streamlines and accelerates typical business processes.

The e-learning on SAP NetWeaver provides an overview of its components, integration tools, and solutions.

After this general introduction, participants are ready to take the Web assessment from the learning map for solution consultants.

Currently, we have industry specific e-learning available for four industries. They leverage the content of SAP Best Practices solutions and cover how mySAP ERP runs in a specific industry. From the learning maps, the learner is introduced to the needs and pain points of our customers, then learns how SAP software runs the most common scenarios that meet the needs of the industry.

0.5 The Level 2 curriculum for the solution consulant working in the SME market is a blended learning solution.

The entry point for this learning path is the BPERP class on Integrated Business Processes in the mySAP ERP Based on SAP Best Practices. It enables partners to descibe how basic business processes are run and integrated in mySAP ERP. The theoretical part in this class is supported by excersises and a case study based on the SAP Best Practices baseline system.

Of course, if the partner is already an experienced application consultant, there is no need to attend the BPERP class; the participant can enter the learning path without attending this course. BPTAA, SAP Best Practices Tools and Accelerators, trains the learner in the delivery and deployment of repeatable solutions, whether they are SAP Best Practices solutions or a partner-specific repeatable solution. This class is complemented by e-learning that provides additional excersises and demonstrations of the latest tools issued by SAP to support this kind of delivery.

The PSL 2 (Packaged Services) classroom training is intended for consultants who specialize as consulting managers in SME projects. Attendance of this training is certainly important for people involved in the development and marketing of mySAP All-in-One or packaged solutions.

The PSL3 course can be delivered as a two-day classroom training or e-learning (in English only). It teaches the ASAP Focus Methodology: the SAP implementation methodolgy for the SME market.

Note: A one-day-version of the ASAP Focus Methodolgy class is also available for people with a strong sales focus. The code for this class is PSL3B.

It is important to note that SAP requires its partners to have the know-how taught in these classes. There should be a minimum number of consultants who have this information, which is why attendance and certification exams in these classes are mandatory. Please refer to the PartnerEdge program guide for details of the regulations.
