EXIT CUTSCENE.

ENTER GAMEPLAY:

INT. COCKPIT, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE1 1

The Space Map pops up and is briefly explained. The player can choose numerous destinations to complete bounty missions.

[See “Space Map”]

The player also learns that they need to take good care of their ship. When traversing the galaxy the player can be attacked by rogues, pirates or even CAVA. In the event of such encounters the player enters a “Fighter Ship Mode” whereby they might battle enemies in space by controlling the Crimson Moon.

The Crimson Moon can receive upgrade and repairs at “Garages” across the galaxy. Upgrades include hull reinforcements and the latest weapon tech.

There are also several exclusive missions involving the piloting of the Crimson Moon.

Finally the player can explore the Crimson Moon but does notice that there’s no Simulator. In order to obtain a new one they will have to complete a future bounty mission (although they don’t know that yet).

[See “Diagram 5” for “Crimson Moon - Original Upgradable Version”]

[See “Diagram 6” for “Crimson Moon Upgrades”]

[See “Diagram 7” for “Garages”]

While exploring the ship the player can trigger dialogue with CAS, KLIK and DAISUKE.

When approaching CAS at the pilot’s seat:

CASDon’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable coincidence.

SKYEThey’re just nebulas, Cas.

CAS‘Course! But I don’t like bein’watched by no folk yet alone gas clouds.

Page 2: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

And KLIK staring into the abyss, with planets rushing by them in split seconds:

KLIKFunny now when you’re on the surface planets seem so... big. But from out here, in the skies, they all look like grains of sand drifting through an endless sea.

SKYEAuric ocean blue amongst blood stains of red. Galaxy’s the most beautiful place there is... the ugliest too.

INT. KITCHEN, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE2 2

DAISUKE is arranging the new KITCHEN; too busy and rushed off his feet to spare any time to chat. It’s hardly like the old ship’s but it’s better than no kitchen at all.

When the player choose to head towards the planet CERULE the “Are you sure” message pops up.

“Are you sure you want to progress with the main storyline? Note that optional missions will not be accessible during the main storyline mission. You can exit the mission at any point, however it will restart once you return. Yes/No.”

EXIT GAMEPLAY.

ENTER CUTSCENE:

INT. SKYE’S QUARTERS, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE3 3

The CRIMSON MOON drifts through space. SKYE rests in her cabin when over the loudspeaker:

CAS (O.S.)Cap. Gonna need you prow-wise.

SKYE jumps up and rushes to the cockpit. There’s concern but overall professionalism about her.

INT. COCKPIT, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE4 4

SKYEWhat we got?

CASSome old friends.

A couple of ASF ships hover around us.

ASF SHIP (O.S.)State your business.

KLIK’s on edge.

SKYEAin’t gotta be complicated. Just keep your lips tight. Pass me the talker.

CASAlrigh’.

EXIT CUTSCENE.

ENTER GAMEPLAY:

CAS flicks a switch and hands over a cabled analogue speaker - known as a “TALKER.”

[See “Interactive Conversations - Main Storyline - 009. ASF”]

SKYE(via the talker)

Howdy.

3.

Page 4: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

ASF SHIP (O.S.)State your business and scan your ID chips. Over.

SKYE(via the talker)

Copy that. Over.

SKYE puts her hand onto a scanning device. KLIK’s bricking it. Surely SKYE doesn’t have an ID chip?

ASF SHIP (O.S.)Captain Eleanor Rogers. State the meaning of your course. Over.

SKYE(via the talker)

Just a routine white rabbit onboard. Heading to the farm. Over.

KLIK’s eyes light up. A rabbit onboard?!

ASF SHIP (O.S.)What’s your destination? Over.

SKYE and CAS share a glance. Is this ASF captain a complete and total moron?

SKYE(via the talker)

No. Just the one rabbit. Over.

A pause. A long and anxious pause.

KLIK(whispers)

Will we have to give ourselves up?

SKYE(via the talker)

We’re on a T9-18 course. Code 6294. Would you prefer I sent the documents over?

CAS(mouths)

That won’t be necessary. Over.

ASF SHIP (O.S.)That won’t be necessary. Over.

SKYE(via the talker)

Ryokai. [Roger.] We good to go?

ASF SHIP (O.S.)Roger, Rogers.

4.

Page 5: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

CAS chuckles.

ASF SHIP (O.S.) (CONT’D)Be on your way.

SKYE(via the talker)

Thank you. Safe journey. Over.

ASF SHIP (O.S.)And you. Over.

CAS flicks a switch and takes the TALKER off SKYE.

SKYE nods at CAS again, who once more flicks the switch. Conversing through the talker SKYE adds info considering the wait.

SKYEHey, Klik. We ever get caught, you run. Got that?

KLIK - for a reason currently unknown to her fellow crew - looks ashamed. She nods, but deep down knows she has nowhere else to go. This her family now - a family whom she can’t leave behind. She searches for something to say to distract their gaze from her revealing emotions.

EXIT GAMEPLAY.

ENTER CUTSCENE:

KLIKSo we don’t have rabbits?

SKYE‘Fraid not.

KLIKOh. I always wanted a rabbit.

SKYENot onboard this -- HOLY SHIT!

SKYE nearly catapults her skeleton out of her flesh and muscle at the sight of a figure in the corridors of the CRIMSON MOON. A small alien sits facing the cockpit.

A blue and white puppy-like creature. One could easily mistake it for a dog, if it wasn’t for its massively large hare-like ears and reptilian feet. It’s tail shares an equal size to the rest of its body, and its entire body’s fur is temptingly soft and fluffy. Its eyes fill most of its face, and its pupils fill most of its eyes. A pink dry wolf tongue flops from its mouth - which is filled with tiny lizard teeth. It whines, yaps and barks like an infantile wild hound-dog, and its blue fur is so brilliant that it rivals the sky on a summer day.

5.

Page 6: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

[See “Diagram 7” for “”Badger” Biology”]

KLIKA puppy!

KLIK runs over to it, and is warmly welcomed with licking and pouncing.

DAISUKE arrives into the corridor, curious to the barking racket.

SKYEWhat the hell is that?!

DAISUKE plucks a hair from the odd and adorable creature - which is too busy play-fighting with KLIK (who’s in hysterics) to notice.

DAISUKEA small fraction of... canine and feline DNA. However the species isn’t on any register I’m aware of.

SKYESo it’s a freak?

The creature whines, and looks at her with literal puppy eyes.

CASI’ve seen one of those before. In err... one of those books ‘bout Earth.

SKYEThat’s not from Earth, Cas.

CASNo. No. I remember. It’s err... one of those... badgers.

Everybody turns to face him. CAS is an idiot.

DAISUKEI say he’s a cat.

KLIKHe’s blatantly a dog!

CASBesides cats are dumb.

KLIKCats aren’t dumb!

CASThey’re hairy, pompous scumballs. With sexy eyes.

6.

Page 7: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

KLIKBut they’re not dumb.

CAS‘Course they are. They just hide it with egoistic self-eminence.

DAISUKEThose are long words for an anti-ailurophile.

CASWhatchoo call me?!

KLIKAww! Can we keep him, cap?

SKYEWha? No! This is a ship. Not a kennel or aquarium or some backworld messo ecosystem. We drop it off at a zoo or something. Might even get some G.

KLIKBut cap! He’s adorable!

SKYENo! It’s a ship!

CASDoes get awfully lonely ‘round here.

CAS and DAISUKE begin petting the now ecstatic creature.

SKYEThere’s four of us onboard! How can it be lonely?!

The creature continues to leap up and down. Its energy is boundless and its happiness limitless.

SKYE (CONT’D)We’re dropping it off, guys.

Nobody’s convinced.

KLIKSure, Skye. Whatever you say.

CASI’m gonna call you Badger.

Surprising everyone - the creature becomes even more energetic.

7.

Page 8: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

DAISUKEI believe he finds this name exhilarating.

CASCome on, Badger! Come on, boy!

The crew run off with the creature in pursuit of them and continue to run circles around it.

KLIKWe need a ball! Where’s a ball?!

As everybody runs off SKYE is left standing at the cockpit.

SKYEWho’s gonna fly my ship?

ASF SHIP (O.S.)Officer Rogers. Please be on your way.

SKYE runs over to the front panel, flicks a switch and snatches the speaker from the hub.

SKYEYes. Sorry. Over. On our way. Over.

SKYE’s flustered. She hastily throws herself into the pilot’s seat and speeds the CRIMSON MOON out.

EXT. ABOVE GOETIA, SPACE5 5

The citadel planet Goetia appears brown from its skies. Its entire surface is touched by civilization; luminescent grounds provide a warm heated glow against the backdrop of space. Its skies host as a central hub for Alliance.

Observing the glittering planet a colossal BATTLECRUISERorbits silently in the darkness.

INT. BATTLECRUISER, ABOVE GOETIA, SPACE6 6

A FEMALE ASF OFFICER approaches a contemplative figure staring into the infinite silk of space. We can’t see the figure’s face, but he bears a familiar sense about him.

OFFICERWe logged a visual on Tesla-KeplerOne. Do you want them apprehended?

The figure nods and the FEMALE OFFICER speeds off.

OFFICER (CONT’D)I’ll see to it then.

8.

Page 9: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

The sun rises from behind PLANET GOETIA. And the beacons from the cities dazzle even from behind the planet’s shadowed side. A beam of blue refraction pierces our eyes, but the figure’s focus remains fixed and unblinking.

INT. KITCHEN, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE7 7

The KITCHEN isn’t in any shape or form what it used to be, and although practically near-impossible it looks even more of a skidrow room than before. All of the crew are with BADGER - whose continuing to pant and devour their attention. SKYE however hates the thing.

KLIKWhose a good boy? Whose a good boy?

CASConstance would have loved this thing.

KLIK turns quiet. Her curiosity ravages her sensibility.

KLIKWho was Constance, Cas?

CAS looks up. Weary-eyed. Holding to the past.

CASYou ever died, Klik?

KLIKWell. No.

Isn’t that obvious?

CASI did. Never felt the same since.

An awkwardness between crew. Even BADGER buttons up, and whines with a droopy hairy frown.

CAS (CONT’D)She --

ASF PRISONER SHIP (O.S.)Crew of the Crimson Moon!

SKYEAh shit. What now?

CAS and SKYE rush to:

INT. COCKPIT, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE8 8

Another ship hovers in front of them, except this time it’s massive. Unconquerable and unimaginable in size.

9.

Page 10: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

Quick flick of a switch. Skye grabs the talker.

SKYEI told you it’s a T--

ASF PRISONER SHIP (O.S.)Deactivate your engines and prepare for docking.

SKYEThat shouldn’t be necessary. May I enquire into the reas--

ASF PRISONER SHIP (O.S.)Put down your weapons and surrender.

SKYE presses her head against the cockpit window, and sees a flashing array of ASF PRISONER SHIPS surrounding the ship. Hovering. Orbiting. Weapons prepped and pointed. There’s no escaping now.

INT. PRISON CELL, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE9 9

SKYE’s lobbed into a grungy cell by a couple of arrogant self-idolizing GUARDS.

SKYEWhat have we done?! I’m Officer Eleanor Rogers and I demand to see the captain of this ship!

GUARDYou’re no medic carrier. You’re a sleazy hunter. And this is your cage, bitch.

Shit.

The GUARDS start to walk away.

SKYEWhere’s my crew? I said where’s my crew?!

INT. CORRIDOR, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE10 10

So many GUARDS. Nowhere to hide.

GUARD #2That’s all of them, sir. No thermals but residual heat from the engine and pipes.

10.

Page 11: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

OFFICER YINDamn it. They have to be here. Double-check every nook and cranny. You hear me?

GUARD #2 nods and continues a search.

The OFFICER (known as YIN) looks over the shithole of a ship. Forged by Cazards, and you can tell they’re not engineer geniuses.

As he walks away we PAN down to the grates below him... and find a worried BADGER cuddled by a cramped KLIK laying down.

INT. PRISON CELL, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE11 11

SKYE paces up and down the cell. Do they know about Verton? Is it something about the wreckage in space? Or is it what she fears most?

We can see into the cell beside us. There’s no walls between them - just shields of energy. An OLD AND HUDDLED MAN (name of JIN) groans in the cell beside her. He’s sick; ill; grating headaches like there’s a grinding wheel to his skull.

EXIT CUTSCENE.

ENTER GAMEPLAY:

[See “Interactive Conversations - Main Storyline - 010. JIN”]

SKYEYou know why I’m here?

OLD MAN JIN says nothing. Was still worth a shot. SKYE slouches to the ground and crosses her legs.

SKYE (CONT’D)What is this ship? I’ve never seen prison cells like this.

JINSometimes...

He groans. His voice is shaky and weathered away.

JIN (CONT’D)They open the shields between the cells. Let the prisoners fight to death.

SKYEAnd this is the Allianced Space Federation?

JINOne and only.

11.

Page 12: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

The sound of SKYE’s heart beating against her chest.

SKYEWhy are you here?

JINYou know Wicca?

SKYEYou’re Wiccan?

JINTwo hundred and thirty years old next month. I think.

SKYEIt’s an honour.

JINDon’t. We’re only men.

SKYEI’ve heard legends. The Wiccanwarriors are... well. Inspiring.

JINDon’t get the wrong idea. I’m just an old man in a menagerie cell.

SKYEBut... you haven’t said as to why.

JINI’m Wiccan. And that’s the only reason I know.

EXIT GAMEPLAY.

ENTER CUTSCENE:

None of this is right. There’s no feud between the ASF and Planet Wicca. SKYE’s starting to become anxious.

INT. KLIK’S QUARTERS, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE12 12

KLIK escapes through a grill into her room. BADGER follows. She silently peeks round the corner and notices a GUARD looking the other way.

EXIT CUTSCENE.

ENTER GAMEPLAY:

The player’s able to control KLIK. Through interactive buttons BADGER can bark to get the GUARD’s attention, and KLIK can attack him.

12.

ENTER CUTSCENE.

KLIK’s now wearing the OFFICER’s UNIFORM. Despite her heart racing and a state of total petrification, she manages to exit the ship with BADGER in our arms.

EXIT CUTSCENE.

ENTER GAMEPLAY:

INT. DOCKING BAY, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE13 13

The room is bleak. Nothing but a warehouse for docked ships. A few OFFICERS circulate around the room. The player controls KLIK towards an EXIT.

OFFICER YINYou there!

KLIK freezes. BADGER just pants excitedly.

[See “Interactive Conversations - Main Storyline - 011. OFFICER YIN”]

OFFICER YIN (CONT’D)What on Goetia’s land is that?

KLIKI’m... not sure. I found it on their ship and thought I should place it in a cell.

OFFICER YINWithout authorization?

KLIKMy apologies, sir.

OFFICER YIN grabs a sewn-in name badge on KLIK’s uniform. Sweat drips from her brow, soaking BADGER’s head.

OFFICER YINTake it to the surgery. We’ll have an autopsy done.

KLIKYes, sir.

OFFICER YINNo salute?

KLIKI’m carrying an animal, sir.

OFFICER YINThen what are you waiting for?! Ike! [Go!]

KLIKYes, sir!

And off KLIK runs.

INT. ASF PRISONER SHIP, PRISON CELL, SPACE14 14

JIN’s groaning is becoming louder and louder. SKYE sits patiently, failing to plot any sort of scheme.

JIN coughs violently. His muscles retching and twisting. His stomach acid bubbling up towards his throat. His eyes seeing triple-vision.

[See “Interactive Conversations - Main Storyline - 012. JIN”]

SKYEWon’t they treat you?

JIN laughs, painfully.

JINThey gave it to me.

SKYEThey what?!

JINDon’t worry. It’s not contagious, apparently. I’m examined constantly. But... s’just me who suffers.

SKYEWhat they did give you?

JINAn injection of air. Can you believe it?

SKYE’s baffled. Is this her fate? Will this be the fate of her crew? JIN spits out blood like it’s mere spit.

SKYESo they grabbed you space-side?

JINI was going to greet a Warrior.

14.

Page 15: EXIT CUTSCENE. ENTER GAMEPLAY · CAS Don’t it freak you that so many nebulas look like eyes? I mean, there’s loads, right? Like they’re watchin’ and it’s, like, a super-uncomfortable

SKYESo you’re...

JINA Qaid. Yes.

SKYEAnd I thought I was honoured before.

JINAin’t nothing honourable about dying in a space cell, my dear. Coughing up blobs of blood.

He continues to cough. Crackling chesty coughs.

JIN (CONT’D)Why are you here?

SKYEI’m afraid it’s because of who I am as well.

JINWell isn’t popularity a sin.

SKYE couldn’t agree more.

INT. CORRIDOR, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE15 15

Back to KLIK and BADGER. The player navigates KLIK towards a TERMINAL ROOM. OFFICERS give her the occasional odd glance.

INT. TERMINAL ROOM, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE16 16

TWO TERMINAL GUARDS spin round in CHAIRS, and look her up and down with disgust.

KLIK puts BADGER down and turns her back to them. Pointing a small device at a SECURITY CAMERA we see --

INT. SECURITY ROOM, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE17 17

The SECURITY CAMERA of the TERMINAL ROOM is now on loop. Playing a two second loop of the TERMINAL GUARDS at their computers before KLIK entered the room.

[See “Interactive Conversations - Main Storyline - 013. TERMINAL GUARD]

TERMINAL GUARDNi shì shéi? [Who are you?] And what is that thing?

KLIKThere’s a malfunction in the medical bay. This creature escaped.

TERMINAL GUARDThere’s no malfunction. Who are you?

KLIKI’m... ah tamade! [ah fuck it!]

The player rushes to tazers the two TERMINAL GUARDS before they can deploy a distress signal.

After their defeat the player must access the TERMINAL.

KLIK (CONT’D)Here goes.

Through a mini-game (which will be playable through future optional missions) Klik hacks into the ASF’s computer system.

[See “Diagram 8” for “Klik’s Mini-Game”]

EXIT GAMEPLAY.

ENTER CUTSCENE:

Once we’re in BADGER starts running around in circles around the room, and KLIK picks up a “TALKER” from the control panel.

INT. PRISON CELL, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE18 18

SKYE and JIN sit patiently.

KLIK (O.S.)Skye? You copy?

SKYEKlik?!

SKYE leaps up in both joy and wonder.

KLIK (O.S.)I can’t hear you. But I need you to head to the docking bay. I’m rigging the security cameras and shutting down all outward comm-links. But it’s gonna look suspicious so hurry.

The front shield on SKYE’s cell deactivates in a flicker of blue.

KLIK (CONT’D)Glad you’re safe by the way.

... and points to JIN’s cell.

KLIK (CONT’D)Roger, cap.

And JIN’s cell is deactivated. By this point however he’s near lifeless. Not a single joule of energy graces his body, and SKYE must carry him through CORRIDORS.

On our way to the DOCKING BAY we stealthily go round a corner and - BAM! SKYE punches an OFFICER in the face. Except it’s not an OFFICER. It’s CAS. And now his nose is leaking blood. DAISUKE is right behind him.

EXIT CUTSCENE.

The player then continues to navigate SKYE while CAS follows and DAISUKE carries JIN. While in gameplay:

SKYEYou know I struggle with Japanese.

CASSuge! [Awesome!] It’s an honour, sir!

JIN’s too weak to reply.

DAISUKEI believe this bird must rest his wings.

CASWhat the fakku you chattin’ about, Dai?!

The player collects a LASER PISTOL from one of the GUARDS and continues onwards.

We see KLIK holding BADGER at the end of a CORRIDOR and rush over to liaise with her.

INT. DOCKING BAY, ASF PRISONER SHIP, SPACE20 20

SUDDENLY: the lights flicker off. OFFICERS and GUARDS baffle in a daze, until it flickers back on and they observe the GANG boarding the SHIP.

SKYE’s at the back, and shoots GUARDS down with incredible accuracy. CAS jumps out from the SHIP with a HUGE artillery gun - and deploys his ammunition resourcefully. While DAISUKE fires his lasers with intention to maim rather than kill.

The player runs around the room, defeating enemies. CRIMSON MOON booms out KLIK’s voice.

KLIK (O.S.)Thirty seconds.

GUARDReinforcements!

Sturdy reinforcements rush in - but the door slams and shuts them out.

The player continues to attack GUARDS up until:

OFFICER YIN shoots SKYE in the leg.

SKYEShit!

She stumbles. Loses her grip on her gun. OFFICER YIN takes aim and --

OFFICER YINARGH!!

BADGER’s bitten him by the goolies - the jewels - the testes - and rips them straight off like they’re nothing but giblets on a carcass.

Rocking, weeping, fainting. OFFICER YIN dies in a bloody pool while CAS runs over and throws the wounded and cringing SKYE over his shoulders while heading towards the ship. BADGER jumps on as the CRIMSON MOON door shuts and the DOCKING BAY door opens.

Surviving GUARDS suffer from their brains exploding inside of their heads, as the door reveals the harshness of SPACE.

INT. COCKPIT, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE21 21

CAS rushes SKYE to the COCKPIT, and places her down hastily.

SKYEThey’ll see us leaving!

KLIKEverything’s on countdown.

CAS grabs the throttle and BOOM - we’re outta there. A wave of energetic air blows corpses to the walls.

The CRIMSON MOON soars through the black silk, but the army of PRISONER SHIPS move towards her.

SKYEThey’re tracing us.

KLIKThree, two, boost!

EXT. SPACE22 22

Full throttle. Space warps into a bubble and the CRIMSON MOON disappears. The PRISONER SHIPS begin to WARP but --

An EMP BLAST from the escaped PRISONER SHIP bellows out, and nearby ships are blasted off course.

Their lights shut down, and their power cells fry, and by the time their backup systems activate the CRIMSON MOON is as invisible as the centre of a black hole.

INT. MEDICAL BAY, CRIMSON MOON, SPACE23 23

DAISUKE’s fixing SKYE up who, despite the odd flinch here and there, is a real tough cookie considering her leg’s been struck by a bullet. Her automated nurse/crew mate dabs a cream over the wound and in an instant the wound has disappeared. Her skin stretches out over her open wound like the roots of Tuvi over Verton’s surface.

He passes her a tub of pills.

DAISUKEThree every hour. The accelerated healing will otherwise end up killing you.

SKYEThanks, Dai.

She jumps from the table. Good as new.

An anxious KLIK, now out of uniform, holds a whining and curled up BADGER in her arms. BADGER’s ears flop loosely over her forearms.

SKYE (CONT’D)You - Klik - were incredible.

KLIKWeren’t nothing to it, really.

SKYENext time we hit Depari, you’re having a drink on me.

KLIK smiles with relief, but BADGER continues to sulk.

SKYE (CONT’D)And I ‘spose you can stay.

It’s not until this very moment that SKYE realizes how fluffy and soft BADGER’s hair is - and he enjoys a good pat.

His tongue flops out and as SKYE walks away with a smile, fidgeting madly in KLIK’s arms. KLIK struggles to contain him... but our focus isn’t on the girl and her hound.

SKYE’s smile warps into an expression of dismay.

INT. DOCKING BAY, ASF PRISONER SHIP 2, SPACE24 24

Several high-class ASF FIGHTER SHIPS have docked. ARMED GUARDS stand at ease behind their commanding officer, while nervous wrecks of PRISON GUARDS stand behind theirs.

OFFICERMy apologies, sir. We don’t know how they accessed the ship’s central computers. They’re the best out there. They --

An old OFFICER interrupts. His frown etched into his skin. A familiar groaning face. It’s --

SEINYAWhy was she on a ship with a prisoner?

OFFICERAll of our ships have prisoners. We’re a prison fleet, sir. If I’d known she was to be --

SEINYAWhy... that ship?

OFFICERIt had the only unoccupied cell, sir.

SEINYA groans... and shoots the OFFICER in the head.

SEINYAYou fucking imbeciles!

The rest of the SHIP’s crew backs off. Forget their jobs being on the line - head office wants their lives!

A figure approaches from behind SEINYA. His face covered... but we know who it is.

His hand grips SEINYA’s shoulder.

FIGUREThey’ll head to Wicca.

SEINYASo soon?

FIGUREHe’s dying, so she’ll return him to his family. Even if her capture could arise from it.

The shot OFFICER’s blood pools out, and stains SEINYA’s nicely polished black boots.

SEINYAMorons.

FIGUREThey’re not morons, Seinya.

And now we see him. His face has aged beyond their years. His eyes stare out a stone cold killer, and he’s nothing but a dated shell of the man he used to be. If you had to describe him with one sin you’d choose hubris.

JETThey’re the best soldiers in the galaxy. And that’s why they’re not afraid.

JET scans the room curiously.

JET (CONT’D)Kill them all.

The OFFICERS instantaneously panic and turn to flee... but there’s no escaping death. A firing squad of the ALLIANCE GUARDS step forward and raise their sights.

Bullets follow paths straight to skulls, and JET re-enters his ship while closely followed by SEINYA.

JET (CONT’D)To Wicca.

The player unlocks the “Hunter’s Cage” Trophy.
