The Latvian Parliament Saeima has 100 elected members, includes 16 committees, 11 subcommittees, and 56 interparliamentary relations. More than 300 staff members work for the Latvian Parliament, and are housed in four main buildings connected via a local area network. LATVIA: STATE REVENUE SERVICE
The major governmental institution in Latvia, its main responsibilities include tax administration, handling of customs issues, detecting and averting tax violations, investigating customs violations, and monitoring the flow of goods to which excise taxes apply. The SRS processes an enormous volume of financial transactions and tax-related documents each year.

Develop a modern information system to integrate the Taxpayer Registry, the kernel of the Tax Recording System, and individual systems for data processing on the collection of various taxes.
Support retrieving information from and synchronizing information with other governmental systems and to support data exchange with the state social insurance system, the central office of statistics, and local government institutions.

The system benefits the government and citizens of Latvia by ensuring that taxes are assessed, monitored, and paid in an orderly manner.
It simplifies the work of tax inspectors and ensures taxpayers access to relevant data. The system helps guarantee the regular flow of revenue to the Latvian central and local
