Who is ABSANZ? ABSANZ – The Association of Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand – was born from a proposal put forward at the 2007 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian Society for Microbiology. During this meeting draft terms of reference were endorsed.

This proposal came to fruition on 23 November 2010 when ABSANZ was registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), with the express goal of strengthening biosafety related linkages and collaborations within Australia & New Zealand.

Exhibitor Registration

Exhibiting companies are eligible to have two staff in attendance on their booth, and participate in the main conference sessions (generally $860 per person). 2 tickets per exhibition booth are provided for attendance at the Welcome Function. Tickets to the gala dinner can be purchased for an additional $140.00 per person. Additional registrations can be purchased at applicable prices.

To reserve your exhibition space, complete the online registration and make full payment for your exhibition space. Applications can be made using the online registration process and space will not be assigned until payment is received. Exhibition space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and sites are limited. Once payment is received, you will be provided with a floor plan and opportunity to confirm your booth allocation. Based on feedback from last year, all exhibitors will be in one room, and catering will be served amongst the exhibition booths, with tables placed allowing delegates to stand and eat within the exhibition space.
