Adult Screen Printing Workshop 10.30am-1pm Project Room Cost f8 Join designer Aoife Challis of Print Block for a hands on introduction to textile screen printing with a focus on colour and pattern. Family Screen Printing Workshop 2-3.30pm Project Room Suitable for children age 5 + Try your hand at screen-printing. Have lots of fun with colour and pattern, designing your own tote bag or tea towel with designer Aoife Challis. Design as a Family Business Talk 2.15-3.30pm Studio Find out about design, creative enterprises and 21st century family businesses with quick fire talks from the creators of the Irelandopedia book series, Izzy Wheels, Leko & Leko Jewellery and Maven design store, Belfast. Film Screening Eames: The Architect and The Painter 4.15-5.45pm Studio A 2011 documentary about legendary American design duo Charles and Ray Eames. Directed by Jason Cohn and Bill Jersey. Exploring with Colour Thursday 8 March, 5.30-8pm Project Room Adult workshop, beginners welcome. Cost f5 Join artist Ida Mitrani for a workshop designed to explore the theory of colour. Examine how colours interact with each other while experimenting with various exercises on mixing colours. A series of colour charts will also be prepared including a black and white tonal strip. Azure Tours Monday 12 February 11.30am-1pm Tuesday 20 February 2.30-4pm Would you like to try something different with your loved one, living with dementia? Facilitators, trained to support people with dementia, will explore and discuss a selection of artworks in these tours. There will also be time to enjoy a cup of tea at the end of the tour. The person living with dementia must be accompanied by a family member or carer.
