How are you feeling so far about your Exhibition?

door?

What is the X-Factor?

• The X-Factor is an event during the Exhibition unit of inquiry.

• It involves student ‘umbrella’ groups and a panel of ‘judges’– The 3-4 judges are from WISS– The judges serve as ‘critical friends’ to the Grade 5

students • The X-Factor is similar to the TV show,

The Dragon’s Den

• This is the SO WHAT!!– Share how you will present your learning on Exhibition Day

(G or I)– Action: share what you think your action will/might be as a

result of what you’ve learned (I)

The Judges• The judges will ask you questions about your

issue/topic, your presentation medium and/or about your Action idea.

• These questions are meant to HELP YOU.

• The judges will then give you suggestions to consider for your final preparations for X- Day.

• The Feedback is meant to REALLY HELP YOU!!
