About SEGDWe are a non-profit association of 2,000+ members who create content-rich, emotionally compelling, experiential spaces for a wide range of environments, from hospitals and transit hubs to museums and educational campuses.

Our members’ work creates a sense of place, helps people find their way, communicates important information, and fuels a dialogue between users and the spaces they inhabit.

Members develop static and digital wayfinding systems, signage, environmental graphics, exhibition content, multimedia installations, public art, user interfaces and branded/corporate environments.

For over 40 years, SEGD has existed to Educate, Connect and Inspire this global, multidisciplinary community. We invite you to join us and help support this critical mission!

What to expect The week kicks off at the Academic Summit on Wednesday, June 6. Here, top educators and design visionaries get together to chart the course of experiential graphic design through peer-reviewed design research, academic innovation and student design excellence.

On Thursday, the SEGD Conference begins with morning sessions that expolore the history and design evolution of the Twin Cities, followed by intimate group tours exploring Minneapolis’ best projects and destinations in the afternoon. Attendees gather later in the evening to enjoy the President’s Reception, the official conference kick off party.

NEXPO runs all day on Friday. New this year: NEXPO Talks on the show floor! Expect to find the hall buzzing during breakfast, lunch, afternoon NEXPO Talks and the ever-popular, often-raucous NEXPO Reception & Auction for Excellence—a live auction.

We start the day Saturday with inspirational keynotes, afternoon breakout sessions and roundtable talks designed to energize participants and push their creative limits. Choose between Design Improve (design for good), Design Thinking or one of two Practice Roundtable Discussions.

The grand finale of the conference is SEGD’s celebration of the best of the best in design and practice. Participants join together on Saturday afternoon for the announcement of the 2018 SEGD Fellow, award the industry’s top practitioners and celebrate the 2018 SEGD Global Design Award-winning projects at the evening presentation and reception.

You’ll leave the SEGD Conference feeling inspired and more connected with your peers, clients and partners.

NEXPO is a must-see for attendees...

Time to connectNEXPO opens Thursday evening during the President’s Reception for a special preview from 7-9pm. Then again all day on Friday, June 8, from 8am to 6pm. You’ll enjoy 12 hours of exhibit time and 8 hours of dedicated time with attendees during the conference events and activities, located on the show floor.

Expect NEXPO to be buzzing during the morning breakfast, lunch, afternoon NEXPO Talks and the evening NEXPO Reception and Auction for Excellence.

New this year, all Friday afternoon sessions will be held on the show floor! These new NEXPO Talks will provide exhibitors and sponsors an opportunity to share educational content at the SEGD Conference, while exhibitors enjoy the extra time with attendees.

88%said the time they spent at NEXPO was highly valuable

Expand your reachConsider these opportunities to expand your reach at NEXPO:

n Become a Sponsor. Sponsor breakfast, lunch, a coffee break or another activity at the Conference. You’ll enjoy all the branding, lead generation and advance promotion benefits of sponsorship, along with recognition throughout the show floor and automatic inclusion in the NEXPO Scavenger Hunt.

n Host a NEXPO Talk. Six talks are available to exhibitors and sponsors. These Talks provide exhibitors an opportunity to contribute to the educational content at the SEGD Conference, while attendees have an opportunity to learn more about specific materials, specification processes, best practicies or new technologies.

n Join the NEXPO Scavenger Hunt. Get more people to your booth by participating in the NEXPO Scavenger Hunt on Friday afternoon.

n Add a Branded Banner. Consider this a life-size ad placement and branding opportunity. Banners are placed along the corridor connecting the main sessions and NEXPO.

n Add your Firm Listing to segd.org! This is a no-brainer at any time of year, but especially important before NEXPO. All exhibitors are listed online with a link to their Firm Listing ($500/year), expanding online reach.

n Send us your press releases. We post your relevant news online (Hint: We also post it to your Firm Listing). Add [email protected] to your press list.

Space is limited. Reserve today!See current floorplan and pricing on the next page.
