We are pleased to announce the 2019 Purple Heart Award will be presented to the L Brands Foundation in recognition of their longstanding commitment to supporting community programs that focus on the health and empowerment of women and the nurturing and mentoring of children. They continue to prove their exceptional commitment to our community through their work with the YWCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters to name and few and, of course, the Amethyst Program. Their dedication to our women and children is demonstrated not only through their generous �nancial support, but also through their longstanding leadership and volunteer service to the Amethyst Board and now to the Alvis Board of Trustees. Their persistent e�orts have allowed thousands of women to achieve sobriety and live a life of meaning and purpose. Because of this, it is our great honor and privilege to recognize L Brands Foundation and celebrate their steadfast support of the Amethyst Program.
